The VBAS and Burbank Animal Shelter staff work together on each production of the Adopt-a-Pet show, which is yet another means for us to highlight shelter residents and find them forever homes. A new show is taped each week and is aired throughout the week on Burbank’s Channel 6, where it has been the top rated show for years, and is now available for viewing on demand!
Adopt-a-Pet showcases dogs, cats and rabbits that are available for immediate adoption as well as pet education through a “Tip of the Week” – information ranging from pet care to seasonal concerns and licensing deadlines.
The Volunteers of the Burbank Animal Shelter, a 501(c)(3) animal service agency, is devoted to providing medical, social, behavioral and financial care for animals at risk and determined to eliminate animal homelessness in the Burbank community.
