Aiden & Gavin

Aiden and Gavin are inseperable brothers. They are in the prime of their kitten lives which translated means that they play and entertain all day long. Anything they find they try to make into a toy or plaything. Gavin carries around the stuffing from a toy mouse like he hunted and caught it himself, it will often end up in his food bowl. Aiden is the shyer of the two, more the follower.

Love & Peace

Love & Peace are very healthy and playful! They have beautiful long, soft hair and big, pretty eyes. I can not wait to get off work, drive home and play with them every day.
But I ‘m a foster parent and my goal is to find a great home for them. If you think you are the one, please call.

Simon

Description:

Dear Santa, I know it is after Christmas, but I wanted to tell you something. I was originally adopted by someone, and he was a nice guy, but he wasn’t home very much. I really looked forward to him coming home so that we could play but he was tired and I think I was too much for him. Well, he returned me to my foster family because he felt bad that he couldn’t pay enough attention to me. A couple of days after I was back with my foster mom she brought home another foster kitten about my age, Lady. I forgot how much fun it is to have company, someone to play and hang out with, and I am much calmer because we tire each other out. So Santa, all I wanted to say is… thank you very much for bringing a friend into my life.

Featured Pet: Hope

Hope is a six year old tan and white spayed female Smooth Coated Chihuahua. She was found as a stray and has charmed the hearts of the staff and volunteers at the shelter. Named Hope, this sweet and loving dog was chosen as the first Pet of the Week for the new year as she symbolizes the hope we have for every animal to have a prosperous, fulfilling year in a forever home! Hope has a great disposition and gets along well with everyone. She would be best as an indoor dog and would live happily in an apartment. An old leg injury has left Hope with a bit of a ‘hitch in her get-along’ but in no way slows her down. Contact the shelter and ask to meet ID#A036328 to find your very own Hope.

Featured Pet: Lacy

Lacy is a five year old yellow Labrador Retriever. This spayed female is a lovebug, a typical Lab with a happy, loving, easy tempered personality. Due to abuse suffered before coming to the Shelter, Lacy may be a bit skittish around some men and is weak in the hind legs. She would be perfect for someone who could work her up to short walks around the block and give her time to shine. Lacy is looking for a happy ending to 2010 by finding a loving, secure environment to call home. If you are looking for a special dog like Lacy, please arrange a meet-and-greet with all the adults, children and other dogs in the family by contacting the shelter and asking about ID#A036173.

Featured Pet: Lulu

Lulu is a spayed black and tan German Shepherd and Labrador Retriever female. Super sweet and playful, Lulu is seven years old but she has the personality characteristics of a puppy. Lulu is full of energy, loves to play and fetch the ball and is happy getting her exercise. She has a good disposition and will be great with other dogs and as a family pet. Lulu is looking for an active family to call her own. To arrange a meeting with the incomparable Lulu, contact the shelter and ask about ID#A036524.

Featured Pet: Princess

Princess is a seven year old spayed female black and white border collie.  She is a sweetie and charms all the people and other dogs that she is around! She looks a little scruffy – maybe not so feminine – but that is part of her charm. Princess would be a great companion on walks.  She should be an inside/outside dog and would be best enjoyed as being an active part of the family. If your family is interested in a royal pet, contact the shelter and ask for an introduction to Princess, ID#A036500.

BEATRIX

Description: Very special rabbit still in need of a permanent home. Don’t worry if you’ve never had a bunny in your life before. Beatrix’ foster mom will give you all the scoop on how to care for her. She is so worth your time and consideration. Beatrix is very sweet and doesn’t mind being held from time to time. She is also very curious so you will need to bunny proof your home to keep her safe. Rabbits need an approximate 10yr commitment as that is their average life span. As she does not mind being held she may make a great school pet where she will get lots of attention.
