Sammie

Meet Sammie – she is a precious, shy kitten but when she comes out of her shell she will play for hours with her brother and foster parents. Sammie tends to be scared upon first meeting people and she will need time to adjust to a new home. I’d like Sammie to find a home with her brother, Sinatra. They are both amazingly precious and would make the right family very happy. If you are patient, kind and have a home with no small children or dogs then Sammie and Sinatra may be the right kittens for you! To meet them contact jenniferheeber@yahoo.com .

Sinatra

Meet Sinatra – he is a very sweet, gentle, shy kitten. Sinatra will do best in a home with people who have patience and let him adjust at his own speed. He enjoys playing with his sister and foster parents and purrs endlessly when being pet. Sinatra is curious yet not as hyper as most kittens. I’d like him to find a home with his sister, Sammie. If you are patient, kind and have a home with no small children or dogs then Sammie and Sinatra may be the right kittens for you! To meet them contact jenniferheeber@yahoo.com .

Featured Pet: Andre

Andre, a long time resident who has been in the shelter since November, is a 3 year old gray and white male Pit Bull Terrier. He is a very active dog who absolutely loves to play ball. Daily walks, energetic play and exercise are a must for this boy. As always, If you have other dogs, please be sure to arrange a meet and greet prior to adoption. You’ll notice Andre’s quiet stare, but don’t be intimidated … he is just wondering if it is finally his turn for a loving, forever home. Contact the shelter and inquire about ID#A036718 for your introduction to Andre. As a part of the Pet Palooza adoption event, from Saturday, 6/25 through Sunday, 7/3 the Burbank Animal Shelter will waive 50% of each adoption fee, making this a perfect week to find a new friend.

Thor

Meet THOR! He is named after the god of Thunder because that’s what he sounds like when he runs. And he likes to run around a lot. And he really loves curling up on your shoulder while the TV is on. He likes kids and other cats and would prefer company. Maybe his brother, Loki, or sister, Lily?! He’s looking for a permanent place on your sofa. Contact his foster mom Merayda at 818/389-0790 or meraydaflores@yahoo.com .

Loki

Meet Loki! He is named after the god of Mischief because he’s always looking for fun! But when he’s exhausted from all the trouble-making and playing with his kitten siblings, he loves to cuddle up on a warm human lap for a snooze. Loki likes kids and other cats and would prefer company. Maybe his brother or sister?? He’s looking for a forever home on your sofa. Call his foster mom Jax at 828/890-6092.

Lily

Here’s Lily. The flower of my heart. She’s looking and yearning for her forever home. She likes her brothers, grown cats and kids. She’d be a perky addition to your house. She would like feline company because she’s used to having lots of playmates. Call her foster mom Jax if you’d like to meet her! 828/890-6092

Featured Pet: Cracker

Last, but by no means least, from our Very Independent Cat group we introduce Cracker, resident cat-in-charge. He was very angry at the injustice of being brought to the shelter and it took a while for his pride to allow him to become friends. Now that he has started to mingle, he is showing his amorous side daily. Cracker does like to make his own decisions and he truly believes that cats rule the world. To meet this bundle of furry independence, contact Anne Macleod (818) 469-3937 for more information.

Denny

Hi there! My name is Dennis, but everyone calls me Denny. I am the cutest little tabby kitten with lots of fun markings! I am very energetic and love to jump. Even if there is no reason for me to jump, I will still just jump around for fun. I love to climb up my scratching post and balance myself on top of it. I quickly learned how to climb to the top of my little kitten jungle gym! I am a little shy with strangers at first, but even if I don’t know you, you can get me to approach you immediately if you have a toy! I very much enjoy chasing and wrestling with my brother Bobby. Sometimes I will let out a little hiss if you startle me, but I forget it ever happened within five seconds. I also really miss my momma and therefore enjoy nursing on the end of my tail when it’s bedtime. Sometimes I even nurse on the end of my brother Bobby’s tail, but his tail moves a lot. I do not enjoy being by myself, so I think I need to go to a forever home with my brother Bobby. He is very brave and teaches me to not be so afraid. Please contact my foster mom, Jennifer, to meet me! jennifer.fagre@gmail.com (218) 591 – 6636

Bobby

Hello!! My name is Robert, but please call me Bobby. I am a very handsome black kitten! I am a very gentle guy; I usually purr loudly and completely relax when I am picked up! My foster mom thinks that the Ragdoll breed is one of my very distant relatives. My favorite activity is playing with my brother Denny. I could play with him for hours on end and never tire! I oftentimes complain and whine when my brother and I are wrestling, but don’t let that fool you! I am just pretending and enjoy being vocal. My second favorite thing is to snuggle up with Denny after a wrestle for a nice little cat nap. I hate being alone, so since I love my brother so much I would rather stay with him when we go to a forever home. I enjoy setting a good example for my brother when it comes to being brave. Please contact my foster mom, Jennifer, to meet me! jennifer.fagre@gmail.com (218) 591 – 6636
