Featured Pet: Ken and Barbie

Ken and Barbie are two sweet and affectionate smooth-coated Chihuahuas. They have been keeping each other company since their debut at the shelter in August and because they have grown so attached, Ken and Barbie make a perfect pair to be adopted together. These two are easy going and eager to please. Ken and Barbie should be indoor dogs and will be OK for apartment living. For double the love and double the enjoyment, stop by the shelter and ask to meet Ken and Barbie, ID#A041387 and #A041388.

Featured Pet: Bosco

Bosco is a enthusiastic and handsome Pit Bull Terrier with a black brindle coat. At the young age of one, Bosco is full of puppy-type energy, very active and eager to meet you.  Daily exercise, lots of love and attention and a home with a yard are just what this young guy needs. Bosco could be just the one for you! As always, a meet and greet with the entire family is important prior to adopting a new pet. Stop by the shelter and inquire about ID# A041401 for an introduction to Bosco.

Lily

Lilly is very friendly and loves to be petted. She gets along great with other cats and kittens. She isn’t crazy about the dogs but will tolerate them. She needs a home with another kitten or cat. She purrs as soon as you pick her up and start giving her attention and loves to play with toys. She has medium hair and two white spots, one under her chin and the other one is on her tummy.
If you want to see her please call Virginia at (818) 624-1091.

Evita

Evita is fearless, full of energy and loves dogs, cats and other kittens. She has unusual coloring for a tabby. She plays hard but loves to be held and will purr as soon as you pick her up and pet her. She does not do well on her own and must have a home with either another cat or a kitten for a companion. If you want to see her please call Virginia at (818) 624-1091.

Evita has been adopted!

Featured Pet: Chuck

Chuck is an Golden Retriever and Chow Chow mix with a reddish coat. About 10 years in age, Chuck ended up in the shelter because his previous owner had passed away. With a lot of love left to give, Chuck will be a great companion for his new owner. He needs to be an indoor dog, he is housebroken and has a very easy-going disposition. In his golden years, Chuck qualifies for our Seniors for Seniors program (a discounted rate for a senior who adopts an older pet.) Light exercise would be good for Chuck to keep him healthy. To give a sweet dog a second chance, stop by the shelter and meet Chuck, ID# A041866.

Featured Pet: Bree

Bree is a female Dachshund and Chihuahua mix. About 8 months old, this dainty creature is looking for a patient, loving and compassionate owner. Because of her talkative and expressive demeanor, Bree is probably not suited for apartment living. Bree loves attention and gets along with some smaller dogs. Remember to bring along any current dogs for a meet and greet before finalizing adoption. She would be good company for a stay at home/work from home owner and will be a good companion on leisurely walks around the neighborhood. To meet the darling Bree, contact the shelter and ask for ID#A040840.

Scooby

I’m a handsome, loving male kitten. I play with my sisters (Cuddles, Skittles, and Pebbles) night and day, but I can also entertain myself for hours with a toy mouse or a ribbon. Once I’m exhausted, I like to settle down for a snooze in a warm lap. In my picture I’m with my sister Pebbles (I’m the one looking right at the camera). To meet me, contact my foster mom, Bonnie at bonjiebonbon@aol.com or 818-843-1279.

Skittles

I’m an adorable, playful female kitten. I’m very social and need lots of attention; I’m always running around tackling my siblings (Cuddles, Pebbles, and Scooby), but I need human attention and affection as well. I’m never happier than when I’m cuddled up to the person who feeds me (ha-ha). If you have a can opener and would like to meet me, contact my foster mom, Bonnie at bonjiebonbon@aol.com or 818-843-1279.

Cuddles

I’m a cute, cuddly female kitten, hence the name “Cuddles” given to me by my foster family. Right now I live with my three siblings (Pebbles, Skittles, and Scooby) but I’m looking for a forever home with a someone caring and affectionate. I need lots of attention, playtime, and love. If you want to be my person, contact my foster mom, Bonnie at bonjiebonbon@aol.com or 818-843-1279.
