Bear

Has your sweet dog been begging you, asking for a new baby brother? Good news! We’ve got just the boy for you! Meet Bear (formerly known as Christian). Bear is the perfect pup to bring home for the holidays. At 1.5 years old, Bear is still a puppy at heart, with a long life of love ahead of him. He’s house-trained, crate-trained, and thanks to his small size, will look like a Labrador puppy forever!
Bear is a fun-loving, curious boy who loves chasing toys and watching squirrels from the living room window. His doggy role-model is Snoopy, so Bear likes to emulate him by snoozing on the back of the sofa (dreaming of being an ace pilot, no doubt!) He’s been learning his tricks, and has started showing off some pretty impressive hopping skills, which makes us think he’s a Jack Russell mix.
Bear is good with dogs, kids and even cats, but he really hopes for a home where he can romp and wrestle with another dog sibling. If you’re looking for a playmate for him, consider adopting his sister-from-another-mister, Cali! (https://www.adoptapet.com/pet/21465250-burbank-california-chihuahua-mix) They’re being fostered separately, but they spent a year living together and are old friends that love each other.

To the left, to the left – all those other doggos take a step to the left! Because the only pup YOU need is our tiny diva with the big attitude, Cali!
Cali doesn’t let being the size of a pea stop her from strutting down the street. She owns that sidewalk, she owns that house, and she definitely owns you! And she’ll make sure you know it by climbing all over you for kisses, or riding around on your shoulders like a queen. And don’t even think about trying to wake this girl up early – she needs her beauty rest!
We love her sassy side – but she’s got a silly, playful streak, too! Watch how excited she gets when she sees her best friend, TENNIS BALL! She’ll play fetch for hours, or carry the ball around in her mouth – even if it is the size of her head!
Cali is good with dogs, kids and even cats. And if you REALLY want to give her a playmate, consider adopting her brother-from-another-mother, Bear! They’re being fostered separately, but they spent a year living together and are old friends that love wrestling.
