Zest (A094237)

Zest is the more adventurous of the two sisters. Blossom will follow her sister and see what mischief they can get in to. Zest will walk between your legs until you stop and pick her up. She usually does this in the morning when you first get up so that she can get her morning snuggles.

Like her sister Blossom, she loves to nap in the sun. They go to different rooms throughout the day depending on where the sun is.

Zest and Blossom are fun adventurous, playful kittens. They have been around adult cats. They would love to be adopted together or into a home that currently has a cat that they can bond with.

To learn more about Zest, please email Bev at bev.daproza@gmail.com.

Blossom (A094238)

Blossom will find any sunny spot in the house to curl up and take a nap. She prefers to nap with her sister Zest or one of the resident cats.

Blossom and her sister are usually together. They get up early in the morning and run and play for a couple of hours. A game of chase with the adult cats in the house is one of their favorite things to do.

One of the sweetest things about Blossom is her little chirp meow. She will come over to you and rub up against you when she wants to be pet and snuggled.

She would love to be adopted with her sister or into a household that has a cat. She loves our cat that is about 3 years old. The adult cat will bathe and snuggle with them. She has been around adult cats. She has not been around dogs.

To learn more about Blossom, please email Bev at bev.daproza@gmail.com.

Little Joe (A094305)

My name’s “Little” Joe, but I’m BIG on personality and I love doing everything on the “Kitten To Do List”. I entertain myself by checking out every nook and cranny in my foster home. Everything I find is a new toy and I’ll carry it around just like it was a mouse.

Ideally, I want a home where I can live with my brother, Hoss, because we’re pretty attached to each other. We love to chase each other and wrestle… and then wrestle some more. When we’re done, we’ll groom each other before we both hit the sack. If I don’t know where he is, I make this cute chirping sound just to let him know I’m looking for him.

I also love to curl up near my foster mom and purr so she knows how happy I am. She calls me a “snuggle puss” which I think is embarrassing, even if it’s true.

I’ve been hanging around a couple of big, calm dogs but we don’t do much together. I do like to sleep next to them sometimes cause they’re so nice and warm. Mostly, I’m just looking for a nice home where me and my brother can kick back and let the good times roll.

To learn more about Little Joe, please contact his foster mom, Allison, at allimackitten@yahoo.com.

Hoss (A094304)

Hi, I’m Hoss and I’m no ordinary cat. I’m “polydactyl” which means I have an extra claw on my two front paws. It makes me look like I’m always wearing catchers’ mitts – which I think is very cool.

I don’t always like it when new people or things appear suddenly, but once I relax I’m ready to come out and say “hello”. Then I’m pretty fearless. I even like playing with fluffy dog tails and do circles and pounces to amuse myself on the big bed. That’ll probably make you laugh out loud.

I have a brother, Little Joe, who is my BFF. I’ve always been bigger than him but it doesn’t matter – we wrestle and run around together till we drop. We’d like to go to a forever home together, because we keep each other amused and love to cuddle up and sleep together. We’re a great team – double the love and double the fun!

To learn more about Hoss, please contact his foster mom, Allison, at allimackitten@yahoo.com.

Austin (A093976)

Austin is a complete sweetheart and cuddle bug, if given time to adjust to his new surroundings. He is the snuggliest and cuddliest boy, when he feels he is in a safe space. But he can get a little overwhelmed by new people and sudden movements. He loves to snuggle with humans he is comfortable with, and will purr so loudly, it can be heard across the room. He sleeps right next to his foster mom’s head every night.

Austin will need a patient adopter who understands cats. He would do best in an adult home, or in a home with quiet older kids who understand cats. Austin LOVES other cats, and would love to find a home with another cat buddy who he can play with and learn from.

To learn more about Austin, pleas email his foster mom, Katie, at kheat512@gmail.com.

Harley (A093670)

Harley is a big fluffy gentle kitten. He loves scratches, food, cuddles & he especially loves his sister Olive. Harley loves to spend lazy days laid in bed or on the couch, but he also loves to explore and play. Harley always wants to be a part of the action, he loves attention & will use his cute meow that sounds like a chirp so you know he wants attention! He sometimes gets a little startled when approached & can be shy at times, but he warms up with time.

Harley would love a calm & quiet home that lets him lay on the bed, gives him attention & he would especially love a home that is willing to take his sister, Olive, with him, but he would adjust well as long as there is another cat or kitten in the home.

To learn more about Harley, please email his foster mom, Grace, at gracelissa@outlook.com.

Olive (A093676)

Olive is a sweet gentle girl. She loves to be pet, loves a good ear scratch & loves treats. She can be shy and may get a little nervous when approached, but she has no problem approaching you when she wants attention. She has the sweetest little meow that sounds like a chirp, and she uses it when she wants attention. Olive’s days are spent cuddled up on the couch watching tv with you, looking out the window, exploring around & taking lots of naps. She loves to hangout with her brother, Harley. She feels very safe with him around & he brings out her goofy personality. She would like to find a calm & quiet forever home that will continue to help her come out of her shell, give her lots of pets & comfy blankets to sleep on. She would especially love a home that would also take her goofy brother Harley. Olive would definitely adjust well with another kitten/cat at home.

To learn more about Olive, please email her foster mom, Grace, at gracelissa@outlook.com.

Opal (A093547)

With eyes as pretty as jewels, Opal is a beautiful kitten who thinks that she’s a tiny panther. She’s a champion jumper when she’s chasing her cat dancer toys. Opal loves to cuddle up and will gladly settle in and binge-watch Netflix with you. She’s one smart cookie, who loves playing with her siblings, too!

To learn more about Opal, please email Julia at juliroc6@gmail.com.

Indiana (Indy) (A093548)

Indy might be the smallest of the bunch, but this cutie has personality to spare. The cutest little tuxedo you’ll ever meet, Indy loves to snuggle up for her afternoon nap. (She purrs so loud, she sounds almost like a race car!) She loves playing with her siblings and would love to find her forever home with one of them, if she could.

To learn more about Indy, please email Julia at juliroc6@gmail.com.

Ash (A093551)

Ash is one good-looking kitty, with subtle dark gray stripes on his tail and back legs. He’s a strong and playful kitten, who also has a mellow side. He’s not the cat that will go running out the front door, rather Ash is the cat who will hang out and see what everyone else is up to instead. He likes to snuggle, get cozy, and take naps in the sun. We could see him settling in quickly once he’s found his forever home.

To learn more about Ash, please email Julia at juliroc6@gmail.com.

Violet (A094126)

Hi, I’m Violet! I’m eleven weeks old and the most lovable cat around! I have a marking on my face that gives me half of a mustache, but I’m still working on growing the rest of it. I am very affectionate and clingy, and I love to take long naps in the sun with my humans. I’m always down to cuddle and watch tv shows (my favorite is The Bachelor). Please contact my foster parents at (818) 523-9809 if you’re interested in me!

Margot (A094127)

Hi, I’m Margot! I’m eleven weeks old and absolutely adorable! I’m sweet, rambunctious, and always down to play. I love to play with pipe cleaners and wrestle with vicious opponents like my own tail and my sister Violet. If you say “fist bump” and put out your fist, I’ll put my paw on it! Please text my foster parents at (818) 523-9809 if you’re interested in me!

Bonnie (A093906)

Wanted: warm lap and unoccupied hands! If you need a partner for binge-watching TV, gaming sessions, or just generally lounging around, Bonnie would like a word with you. Bonnie is a 5-month-old black kitten with subtle black stripes in her coat that show up in the sun. She is an independent girl who enjoys curling up on piles of soft stuff and napping on her own. But if you sit quietly in one place for longer than ten minutes, watch out! Bonnie will smother you in love! Suddenly your lap will be full of purring kitten, gently taking your hand in her mouth and pulling it to her head so that you understand it is the petting time now.

Bonnie gets along well with other cats but she would also do well on her own–provided you pet her enough! She’s a very quiet girl who is looking for someone to match her gentle energy at home. She can be timid about new things or loud sounds, like people coming home from work or the resident dog bursting into the living room, but once she feels safe and comfortable she will come out from her hiding place. If she’s startled or if something comes at her too fast for her liking, she may hiss, but hissing is her first language from when she first came in off the street and she doesn’t mean anything by it.

If you’re interested in Bonnie or would like to know more about her, please email her foster mom dana@thevbas.org and let her know a little bit about your household and what you’re looking for in a cat.

Freddy (A093907)

Picture the most big-hearted, good-natured, very silly star quarterback of the high school football team. That’s Freddy. Freddy is a 5-month-old tuxedo kitten who is made of two things: energy and goofiness. He won’t be taking home any prizes for academic achievement but he will make you laugh all day long. His favorite activities are: wrestling, twining around his foster mom’s legs for food, extreme napping, following his sister to cuddle with her even after he’s annoyed her, and chasing the bell on his own collar. He’s really just a class clown.

Freddy absolutely LOVES to play with other cats–be they other kittens or even full-grown energetic cats. If you’re looking for someone to help your crazy cat get rid of some energy, Freddy would be an excellent gym partner for them. This guy has enough energy to power a small house for a week, once he really gets going. Sometimes he goes so hard that he startles himself, or will hiss if he turns a corner and runs into you when he wasn’t expecting you, but hissing is his first language from when he first came in off the street and he doesn’t really mean anything by it.

If you’re interested in Freddy and would like to know more about him, please email his foster mom dana@thevbas.org and let her know a little bit about your household and what you’re looking for in a cat.

Alexis Rose (A092010)

Alexis is sweet girl, but shy. She doesn’t like a lot of noise or sudden movements. Alexis would love a quiet home with another cat friend, and humans who understand cats, as she will need time to warm up to her new home and humans. But once she does, she loves head and belly rubs, and will roll over and start purring as soon as you start petting!

To learn more about Alexis, please email her foster mom, Katie, at kheat512@gmail.com.

Haunter (A093397)

Hey, I’m Haunter! Like my brother, Casper, I’m very friendly and love people. When we’re not roughhousing or exploring our foster’s house, we love to snuggle up for a nap on our cat tree, which is right by the window. I love watching the world outside and have a thing for feathers. So, if you adopt me, you’ll probably want to have lots of toys for me to play with. We’re both so excited to find our forever homes and a family to call our own.

For more information about me, email my foster at levi.chambers@gmail.com

Casper (A093395)

Hi, I’m Casper, and like the famous ghost I’m named after, I’m very friendly. Our foster, Levi, bottle-fed my sister and me, so we absolutely love attention. We’re incredibly playful and adore cuddling. The moment you pick me up, I’ll start purring and snuggle right in for a nap. When my sister and I are not busy exploring the house, I love to lounge in the hammock by the window and relax in the sunlight. Like my sister, I’m looking for a forever home just in time for the holidays.

Ready to learn more about me? Email my foster, Levi, at levi.chambers@gmail.com

Petra (A094007)

Petra was found in a car engine at just 6 weeks old, but fear not, she is ready to be your companion for life!

Little Petra has a grey and beige tortie coat. She has an extremely petite vocal quality that matches her tiny stature.

Petra is extremely curious and sociable. Her foster home had one older cat and has met another kitten during her time here. She may take a week or two to come out of her shell but afterwards, will be the sweetest kitten you’ve ever met. Her two favorite things are 1) napping on the laptop, the human lap, and the desk, and 2) playing with her toys and running around with the zoomies!

This kitten will thrive in a home where she will have companionship throughout the day (whether it’s from her human friend or other animals) and has a spot on the bed at night.

To learn more about Petra, please contact her foster mom, Rose, at Rose.sdang@gmail.com.

Jane Pawnda (A093572)

Jane is a big personality wrapped in a tiny ball of fur! She loves to play and explore, but when she gets tired her favorite spot to sleep is curled up right under your chin. Jane loves to chat and will meow to let you know that she wants some cuddles and a kiss! She’s looking for a human who loves to play and will give her lots of attention and affection. Jane would like to join a home with another cat if possible, or if you’re looking for two furry friends, she would love to be adopted with her sister Diane Kitten. She can also be an only with an attentive human.

To learn more about Jane, please contact her foster mom, Lucie, at lucieblyon@gmail.com.

Diane Kitten (A093573)

Diane is always looking for a soft spot to curl up and sleep! She loves to lounge right next to her human or even on your lap. She also likes to explore and play with anything she can find to bat around, and during TV time you’ll find her standing on her hind legs to watch with you. If you’re looking for a laid-back kitty who still loves to play, Diane is your gal! She would like to join a household with another cat, or if you’re looking for two furry friends, she’d love to be adopted with her sister Jane Pawnda. Diana can also be an only with an attentive human.

To learn more about Diane, please contact her foster mom, Lucie, at lucieblyon@gmail.com.

Hugo (A093304)

Hi! I’m Hugo, a fun-loving white kitten with a few grey spots. I love playing with my own tail, napping in a basket and playing with my sister Audrey! I grew up in a house with other grown cats, and I’m comfortable with people of all ages. When I’m not chasing balls, I love to curl up on your lap and watching TV. I’d love to go to my forever home with my slightly smaller sister Audrey, who looks a lot like me.

To learn more about me, please contact my foster mom, Cecilia, at 323-354-7504.

I’d love to go to my forever home with my slightly bigger brother Hugo, who looks a lot like me.

To learn more about me, please contact my foster mom, Cecilia, at 323-354-7504.

Benjamin (A093678)

Hi, my name is Benjamin. I am handsome and fluffy, and I always have a lot to say. I love to be petted and cuddled but mostly I am on the move because I am still a kitten. My favorite activity is hunting and I am really good at catching the mouse with the jingly ball in it. Currently I live with another kitten friend and a few grown-up cats and we all get along well. I like to be around people and other friendly pets and would be happy in a busy household.

To learn more about me, please email my foster mom, Michele, at michele.lacher@gmail.com.

Mr. Whisper (A093571)

Mr. Whisper (AKA Shortsock) is a tiny, velvety tuxedo kitten with striking green/gold eyes, whimsical white gloves, socks and bib. He was found with his brother, Mr. Marcel (AKA Longsock) and two other siblings in the Burbank Bridge Construction. They were all very tiny and malnourished – especially Mr. Whisper, who was the tiniest – but they blossomed quickly into healthy, loving, very playful little charmers.
He’s quite social and would do best if adopted with his brother- they are inseparable, always cuddling, wrestling or napping curled around each other. Super sweet and gentle, he purrs as soon as you stroke him and seems wise beyond his years (weeks?). His hobbies are personal grooming, world exploration, and competitive cuddling.

To learn more about Mr. Whisper, please contact his foster mom, Shanda, at shandasawyer@mac.com.

She loves to be petted and held (see video), and always greets people with an affectionate purrrrrr…..Sine Melanie has been raised around cats and dogs, she would do well in a family with other friendly pets.

To learn more about Melanie, please email Rachel at viollet10@gmail.com.

Jack (A093778)

Jack is just the sweetest, most curious, playful, and cuddly kitten around! He loves to chase his feather wand toy around the living room, run full speed ahead through his toy tunnel, and follow you around the house wherever you go. And when he has exhausted himself from all of that, he will jump up onto your lap, curl himself up, and reward you with the sweetest snuggles and the loudest purr you’ve ever heard. Jack will make a wonderful pet, and whoever brings him home will truly have a forever friend. Jack is a wonderful little dude, and anyone would be lucky to have him!

He loves to explore, but he also loves to snuggle and purr! Out of all the fosters we’ve had in our home, he’s definitely the loudest purrer! He’s a brave little adventurer who loves our dogs and other cats, and we think he’d do well in a home with plenty of excitement!

To learn more about Klaus, please email his foster mom at stephanie.elise.h@gmail.com.

When we first brought her home she was very scared of people and kept her distance, but she has completely turned around and is the sweetest little snuggle girl. She loves to sit on our laps when we’re watching TV and snuggles right up to us at bedtime. She does well with our dogs and other cats, and we think she’d do well in a home where she’ll get plenty of lap time!

To learn more about Violet, please email her foster mom at stephanie.elise.h@gmail.com.

Nandor (A093000)

Nandor is such a sweet boy. He’s a bit more reserved than his brother, Laszlo, and prefers to let Laszlo do most of the talking. We call him our little philosopher, as he often chooses to just sit and observe the world. He loves to cuddle, and find the cozy spot in the crook of your arm, or between you and a pillow. Nandor would love to be adopted with his brother, Laszlo, or to a home with another friendly cat.

Joey’s brave about exploring, will come when he’s called for his dinner, playtime or a treat. Being a rescue kitty, Joey is still startled by unexpected noises, so he’ll need a little time to get used to his new home. He is very interested in making friends with our adult cat, so I believe he’d be happy in a family with other pets. If you’re interested in learning more about this sweet boy, contact Cathleen at bowleake@yahoo.com.

Linus (A093588)

Our sweet boy, Linus, loves getting his photo taken. Whenever he discovers something new, he takes his time to observe and study it. The clicks of the camera don’t scare him! Linus loves snuggling up on his foster mother’s shoulder and purring loudly in her ear. From there he watches Phoebe run marathons back and forth, waiting for the best moment to jump in and join her.

Linus is bonded to his sister Phoebe. Together they spend much of their day wrestling and playing tag around their room. Afterward, these two cuddle bugs love taking naps on top of each other in their warm, fuzzy blankets!

Phoebe & Linus would be perfect for an active home with children, adults, or other animals that will join them in playtime and exploration.

Peanut (A093229)

Peanut is an adorable 2 month old female light tabby. She is very brave and curious, and loves to watch what you’re doing and make sure you’re doing things right. She loves to “hunt” her ribbon toy and is an excellent toy enthusiast. She also loves to tumble around with her brother, Sesame. Peanut is still getting used to being picked up, but enjoys a nice cheek and head rub and easily gets her purr engine rumbling.

It would be great if Peanut was adopted with her brother, Sesame, so they could run and tumble all day! However, they are both confident enough that they could go to separate homes as long as they are given plenty of love and attention.

If you’re interested in adopting Peanut and/or Sesame, send Annie an email at theanniehsu@gmail.com.

Zoe is a sweet little kitten. She loves to find a soft place to sit and sleep. When we hold her, she gets very relaxed and stays with us for a long time. Zoe is curious, but a little cautious before exploring. It is good that she has brother Leo who is more brave and shows her how to explore new things around them. She has such adorable eyes that are asking for more of our attention. Her gentle personality will go well with a quiet house with less disturbance. Zoe would love to be adopted by herself or with her brother Leo (A093002).

To learn more about Zoe, pleas email her foster mom at seungwon.harbaugh@gmail.com.

Leo (A093002)

Leo loves to explore and always wants to know what’s behind a door to find out what he’s missing. Leo’s favorite toy is a little thing that he finds on the floor. He plays with it like a soccer ball, moving it around the entire house. He is also a great skater (sort of). When he has to make a sharp turn or sudden stop, he slides on the wooden floor, looking like an ice skater. He loves to be near us, watching what we are doing and finding a little toy from our desk. After an exciting play, Leo loves to sleep on a bed with us or on our laps. He will be a great pet for a family who wants to have a playful and friendly cat.

To learn more about Leo, please email his foster mom at seungwon.harbaugh@gmail.com.

Fluffy (A093677)

Hi, my name is Fluffy, because I’m, well… really fluffy. I am quite the handsome kitten and I always have a lot to say. While I like to explore and play as much as the next kitten, I have a pretty calm personality. I love to be around people and get lonely easily. I would not like to be alone a lot. Currently I live with my brother, Benjamin, another kitten friend, and a few grown-up cats and we all get along well!

To learn more about Fluffy, please contact his foster mom, Michele, at michele.lacher@gmail.com.

Pineapple (A093431)

This is Pineapple!! If you want a loving lap sitting ball of joy then you must meet her! She is quiet but mischievous and don’t let her small size fool you. She loves to do things her way whether that be laying on your legs for hours or running around the house! Don’t think while getting into mischief she’ll forget about you because she always makes sure to take a little break and show you a little love. She loves to sleep next to you or greet you as you walk in a room. She doesn’t love to be picked up but is always interested in hours of cuddle time!

To learn more about Pineapple, please contact her foster mom, Chelsea, at chelsea.parker7@yahoo.com.

Gon (A093429)

This is Gon! He is a playful one and especially loves to play with your hair, sit on your neck lick your face and be next to you! Don’t think he will sit still for too long because he loves exploring, jumping and climbing on any surface he can find to explore! He loves to be held and have his belly scratched. He melts into your arms each time you hold him and almost instantly starts purring and falling asleep! Gon is the perfect mixture or love affection and adventure!

To learn more about Gon, please contact his foster mom, Chelsea, at chelsea.parker7@yahoo.com.

Arthur (A093310)

Arthur is a skilled baker, but we’re not surprised cause he was born with big mittens. He has 24 toes in total and he *loves* to make biscuits! You know what they say about big paws….it makes him a little shy?! Arthur came to us as a stray and was really scared at the shelter, but it took only a week in a foster home for him to open up and start acting like a big playful sweet kitten. He loves belly rubs and snuggling on the couch but he can still be a little unsure of quick movements and things outside his comfort zone. He is very vocal and makes tiny chirps to communicate with you and with other fur friends. He has A LOT of energy, and he loves other cats. We think he would do best with a kitty who matches his high level energy.

If you are looking for a funny and sweet companion and are willing to be a little patient to let him get comfortable at his own pace, Arthur is the guy for you! Please contact his foster mom at Irina@thevbas.org

Fifi (A093340)

Hi! My name is Fifi and my dream job would be a cat toy tester. I LOVE playing with things that roll, jingle or look anything like a mouse. I’ve got all the best Ninja Cat moves when I’m doing it too.

I’m not really a lap cat, but I’m very curious about what you’re doing and always try to help. And I’m a Siamese mix so I will talk to you when I have something  to say. I like to be picked up and loved a bit, but pretty quickly I’m ready to go and play some more. When I’m tired, I’ll come curl up beside you and keep you company.

I have to be honest, I don’t really like a lot of strange, new loud noises; they send me scampering under the sofa. I’ll be happiest in a quieter home with maybe one or two people, then I can relax and share my loving, lively personality with you.

I’ve met a couple of pretty mellow dogs this past week and I’m starting to get used to them but I’m still on the fence about that. I might like a home with maybe one other cat, but more than that is too much for me.

I can’t wait to get to my forever home and make you my new best friend.

To learn more about Fifi, please contact her foster mom, Allison, at allimackitten@yahoo.com.

Biscuit (A093049)

Biscuit is the funniest little cream puff! She may look like a big strong lion with her fluffy mane, but she’s really still just a big blue-eyed baby! She likes to hide in cozy little caves, and purrs when you pet between her ears. Her sister Honey helps get her out of her shell and the two love to roll around and have wrestling matches with each other. Biscuit can often be found napping on your feet, your office chair, or any other inconvenient-but-adorably-cute spots! Biscuit probably wouldn’t like a home with bigger animals.

To learn more about Biscuit, please contact her foster mom, Sarah, at sarahcalle@gmail.com.

Honey (A093046)

Honey is a playful kitty with a spirit for adventure! She’s always curious to see what’s behind the next door or unexplored room! This bouncy little calico has the prettiest orange and black swirls all over her back. While she may not be much of a lap cat, she’s very sweet all the same and loves to play- especially with her sister, Biscuit. She has the tiniest, squeaky little meows, which she uses to let you know if you’re being too loud for her liking during nap time. Her secret purr-button is right at the base of her spine near her tail- instant purr machine!

To learn more about Honey, please contact her foster mom, Sarah, at sarahcalle@gmail.com.

Salem (A093586)

Are you looking for your very own Halloween kitten, or perhaps….two? Salem was rescued from the rough streets of Burbank with his brother Binx, and immediately took to the good life of indoor living! He is a sweet, loving little guy, and some of the things he enjoys most include: looking out the window, playing with little mouse toys, wrestling with his brother, climbing to the highest point he can find, exploring new places, snuggling into a fuzzy blanket, and the eating the crunchiest kitty kibbles. Salem is playful, loving with his humans, and a little careful and cautious in new situations. He is sleek, regal, and more dignified than his goofy brother. He would enjoy going to a home with his brother Binx, as they have always been very good at entertaining each other, but he would likely fit in well in a household with another young cat who would befriend him, or at least tolerate his kitten energy. Salem has met one older child and did well with her. He is daily around two older cats without fear. He hasn’t met any dogs yet.

To learn more about Salem, please contact his foster mom, Sonja, at solson84@outlook.com.

Binx (A093587)

Are you looking for your very own Halloween kitten, or perhaps….two? Binx was rescued from the rough streets of Burbank with his brother Salem, and immediately took to the good life of indoor living! He is a happy little purr machine, and some of the things he loves most include: being around people, being the center of attention(!), wrestling with his brother, trying to hog all the wet food, climbing the cat tree, using his voice, finding adorable places to sleep, and long, lingering eye contact with his humans. He is clearly a very handsome boy, and he knows it! Binx would enjoy going to a home with his brother Salem, as they have always been very good at entertaining each other, but he would probably do well in all kinds of households, especially if there is a cat who will indulge his kitten play. He has met one older child, and enjoyed her attention. He regularly interacts with two adult cats without fear. He hasn’t met any dogs yet.

To learn more about Binx, please contact his foster mom, Sonja, at solson84@outlook.com.

Yaslynn (A090488)

Yaslynn is a 3 year old lemur…wait I mean kitty!  This pretty girl is easily confused with a lemur because of her big round eyes and her adorable little nose. She can be a little shy when she first meets you, but if you go slow and let her get to know you, as soon as she gets into petting range she *loves* every single one of those pets. Belly rubs included!   She’s also a big fan of treats: Offer her one of her favorites and she’ll come right up to you!

She is a chatty girl and will have full conversations with both humans and furry friends.

Yaslynn is very gentle and gets along with other cats if introduced properly or would do great as an only cat. She has a best friend named Colin who is also looking for a home so if you are interested in adopting a pair they would love to find a home together, it is not a requirement tho! She would do best in a quiet home with an understanding cat parent who can give her the time she needs to get comfortable in her new home.   Once she’s comfortable you’ll have a sweet, purrrry, chatty kitty who loves to snuggle.

To learn more and add a kitty-lemur to your crew email irina@thevbas.org

Colin (A090537)

Colin is a gentle soul. He’s extremely mellow and loves being petted from head to tail. You will be rewarded with loud purrs and biscuit making demos if you do this right! After he plays in the morning he’s content to spend the rest of his day laying in the cat tower looking out the window at the birds and squirrels.

Colin is sweet with people but he also loves other cats. He’s a fantastic role model and babysitter to kittens. In fact, he lets the little ones snuggle with him for a good long nap. He would do best in a quiet home with at least one other cat. Small respectful dogs should be fine.

To learn more about Colin, please contact his foster mom at bonjiebonbon@aol.com.

Miss Mavis (A092701)

Miss Mavis is a playful girl who spends her days chasing feathers, sleeping in the sun and purring on my neck! She loves to sit on my shoulder like a bird and purrs like a motor when I pick her up! At the end of an exciting day full of “feather stick” and “laser pointer,” she hops up on the couch for a snuggle in or next to your lap! She has grown to love our 5 month old kitten and we have chill dogs she’s grown to feel neutral about. My 6 and 9 year old children have been very interactive with her, so I think she’d do fine in most environments! Super active dogs may not be a great fit for her, but otherwise, she’s super adjustable! She is the SOFTEST cat I’ve ever pet and once you hold her, you won’t want to let her go!

If you would like to know more about Miss Mavis, please call or text her foster mom, Jen, at 310-804-0143.

Moonpie (A093287)

Moonpie is a sweet and playful kitten who follows his favorite human around like a puppy. Energetic, spunky and absolutely silly, Moonpie loves playtime. But despite his playfulness, he also loves curling up on the nearest lap for snuggles. Must go to a home with another cat that can compliment his energy level.

To learn more about Moonpie, please contact his foster mom, Marissa, at mmackey777@gmail.com.

T’Challa (A092604)

T’challa is a sweet, goofy, active kitten who loves to scramble after toys and take mighty leaps up his scratching post. A natural adventurer, he’ll determinedly investigate anything you have out. He’s a sleek, pretty little guy with lanky legs and a cute perpetual “smile” on his face. He’s not as graceful as bonded sister Shuri, but when he’s all tuckered out from playing he’ll let you cradle him and snuggle. He’s less independent than Shuri, often trying to play with her while she’s trying to play by herself — but still, they always end up play-fighting and/or snuggled up in a kitten-pile by the end of the night. He enjoys sleeping on your chest or lap as you chill in the evenings, and only meows when he finds himself alone (he gets lonely easily!).

T’challa is half of a charming, athletic bonded pair with his sister Shuri. They are looking for a warm, welcoming home together! Both can be feisty and can get carried away if you get in the middle of their play-fighting, but never in a mean-spirited way- they have a lot of love for people. They also purr like freight trains…

These two were hand-raised from ten days old, so they’re very used to people and being handled often (and being all over your space!). They come from a quiet house with three young adults who’ve all been working from home and give them lots of attention daily… so they would do better with someone who works from home, or is home often! They miss you when you’re not there, but they’ll also keep each other company when you’re busy. They aren’t used to children or other animals, and may not be the best fit for young or hands-on children

CONTENT WARNING: These two are illegally cute! Be ready for endless mischief, and give them room to take chase… and don’t be surprised when they take their pursuit over (and under) the furniture to make it more exciting! Sunny patches are highly encouraged if you’re looking for some adorable catnap action, as well as anything fleecy or super-soft they can take over for themselves.

To learn more about T’Challa, please email his foster mom, Maureen, at macomber.maureen@gmail.com.

Shuri (A092601)

Shuri is a clever, active kitten who loves to play and chase any stray bugs (crickets are her favorite, the poor things). While she often plays independently, she always returns to cuddle and wrestle with her brother, nestling up together for naps and grooming and playful nips. Shuri is an observer, much preferring climbing up to play parrot on your shoulder over being held… and will make herself a comfy perch there if you let her. Either way, she’ll follow you around all day (napping under your chair as you work, or on your lap- or curled up next to you on the sofa to watch TV with you). She loves attention.

Shuri is half of a charming, athletic bonded pair with her brother T’challa. They are looking for a warm, welcoming home together! Both can be feisty and can get carried away if you get in the middle of their play-fighting, but never in a mean-spirited way- they have a lot of love for people. They also purr like freight trains…

He can be in a house with other cats or children over 3. He may be able to be around dogs . He constantly gives affection to his brother and sister including some of his toys. He tries to stay away from big commotions but is fearless when he meets new cats.

To learn more about Milkshake, please contact his foster parent, Ranna, at (818) 836-0122.

Every time you walk in the room you will be greeted with a push-push on the leg and endless purring. She loves running around with her sister Nala and getting into trouble. (They’re Best Friends).

Bowie (A092852)

Bowie is tiny, but she is mighty. Her big green eyes will make you melt, she purrs like an engine when she is cuddled, and she is the perfect combination of sweet and goofy.

Living with Bowie is 24/7 entertainment. She constantly has a new favorite toy, facial expression, funny noise, or sleeping position. You never know what’s next on her agenda, but what is always certain, is that you’ll get a great cuddle session and she will always remind you when the food bowl is empty.

Bowie loves to have a cuddle buddy and a play buddy, especially her siblings Jerry and Pixie, who she would love to go to a forever home with one or both of them. But she would be fine in a home with another kitten or kitten at heart that loves to play and cuddle.

Pixie’s beauty on the outside, matches her beauty on the inside. She is goofy, melts when you hold her, purrs like an engine, and loves to talk, you can always count on having a good conversation with her.

There’s nothing she loves more than a good play session. She loves to zoom around, wrestle with her siblings and has the most dainty pounces. When playtime is over, she will seek a cuddle buddy whose arms are open and ready to cuddle for a long nap.

Companionship is very important to Pixie, Pixie loves attention and she doesn’t like to feel alone and will seek a buddy.

Pixie would love to go to a home with her siblings- Jerry and/or Bowie but any home with a kitten (or kitten at heart) would be just fine

Jerry (A092847)

Jerry has a big heart, with an even bigger belly. He loves to be cuddled, he purrs like an engine, he has the most gentle meows and knows how to make you melt with those big green eyes.

Playtime is a huge part of his day. He is part kitten, part monkey (not really) but he climbs around like a monkey, you will often catch him zooming around, pouncing and wrestling his siblings and toys.

Jerry loves food and naps. If he had thumbs, he would write a food blog. Jerry is passionate about naps, he never sleeps alone, loves a calm environment where he can relax, and always has to have a cuddle buddy. He especially loves to cuddle with his sisters-Bowie & Pixie.

Jerry would love to go to a home with his siblings- Pixie and/or Bowie as he always cuddles with them while he sleeps, and loves to wrestle them, however, he would do well in a home with a kitten or kitten at heart that is willing to wrestle, nap and respect his passion for food.

The Professor (A092739)

When The Professor came to us, she was scared and hissy. After a few weeks in foster care with another kitten, Dobby, she started being very sweet. At first she would hide under a bookcase, but now she will come up to us and purr very loudly as we stroke her head. She likes to sniff your hand before you start petting her. She is very playful, especially with Dobby, with whom she gets along with very well. They love to pounce and wrestle with each other and will get very excited about a stick toy. The Professor is a great kitten and a perfect companion for anyone who can spend time with her. She would like to live in a quiet household with a patient person who can be attentive and loving towards The Professor as she adjusts to her new home and comes out of her shell.

To learn more about The Professor, please email her foster mom, Kelli, at kyoungblood52@gmail.com.

Dobby (A092551)

When this adorable kitten came to us, he was a sweetheart from the beginning. Dobby just sat through his bath without protest. He loved us right away and he would purr so loudly; in fact, he still does. He’s very playful. He is so playful that before we had The Professor (another kitten) come to us, he was biting and scratching at anything he could get his tiny paws on! He loves to play with small stuffed animals, jingle balls, stick toys, and toes. He is so, so cute and loving that we can’t take our hands off him. For the first few weeks he lived in our home, we had him shut in the bathroom overnight. Every morning, he would say, “Mew! Mew! Mew! Mew! Mew!” until we would open the door and pick him up. At that point he would be purring so, so loudly. While he ate, we would have to pet him; otherwise, he would stop eating and mew at us! He is docile and loves it if you pick him up, carry him around, and rub his cute little belly. He would like to find a home with a loving person who can be attentive to him and play with him, or at least another animal playmate.

To learn more about Dobby, please email his foster mom, Kelli, at kyoungblood52@gmail.com.

Hi, I’m Pop! I’m the smallest and quietest of my brothers, but don’t let that fool you! I can run and play with the best! I have big cute ears and slightly shorter legs, so I’m not a great jumper but I can still jump straight into your heart. I love to find a nice quiet corner to snuggle up with one of my brothers, and when it’s time to eat, I’m the first one running to the bowl! I would be great for a family with kids, first time cat owners, or seasoned cat owners. I just need to go to a home with another cat I can play with, or even better yet be adopted with one or both of my brothers: Snap and Crackle!

I would be great for a family with kids, first time cat owners, or seasoned cat owners. I just need to go to a home with another cat I can play with, or even better yet be adopted with one or both of my brothers: Snap and Crackle!

To learn more about me, please contact my foster mom, Caroline, at caroline.scarybear@gmail.com.

Barley (A093153)

Barley is a playful and sweet little guy! It doesn’t take much to get him chasing around. He’s spry and also very affectionate. One or two pets is all it takes to get him purring. Sometimes he likes to show affection with gentle love bites. He’s got a healthy appetite and a special affinity for baby food. After a few hours of playtime, his favorite activity is to curl up in a warm lap and purr himself to sleep. He really enjoys the company of other kittens and although he’s never been around a dog or child, he’s young, adaptable, and got the potential to flourish in either of those scenarios. He’s sensitive and shy at first, but as soon as he starts to feel comfortable, it won’t take long for him to come out of his shell! A little love and affection goes a long way with Barley!

To learn more about Barley, please contact his foster parents at dthomashower@gmail.com.

Milo (A093154)

Milo is a curious, playful, and suave kitten. He thrives on his freedom but that said, he loves to curl up on your lap for nap time. You’ll never have to wonder if this guy is happy because he makes it very clear. A few seconds of affection for him come with vigorous purring! And he will chase anything that moves! He loves to eat and play with other kittens. Although he’s never been around a dog or child, he’s young, adaptable, and has the potential to flourish in either of those scenarios.

To learn more about Milo, please contact his foster parents at dthomashower@gmail.com.

Knuckles (A092991)

Knuckles is nothing but sweetness and affection. He likes to be picked up and cuddled. He’s so soft and cute and he loves being with people. He will climb up and sleep on your chest after his dinner (he makes the cutest noises when eating) when he’s ready for a snooze.

Knuckles is happy playing with his siblings and with toys. He’s not really aggressive but he’s not afraid of anything, even our big cat. The main thing about Knuckles is that he is a soft and loving sweetheart who would make a warm friend for someone looking for affection and companionship.

For more information about the love-bug Knuckles, contact Cathleen at bowleake@yahoo.com.

Rascal (A092992)

Rascal purrs when he’s cuddling and feels happier being with others. If you’re ready for a curious, playful kitty to become part of your family, Rascal’s ready to go!

Amelia (A092519)

Amelia had a challenging start to life. She came into the world via an emergency c-section. Sadly, her mother, and all of her siblings passed away during surgery.

Having thrived in foster care, Amelia has shown incredible strength and resilience. She is a very healthy, loving, playful kitten as is evident in her video “Amelia’s Journey” which is available for viewing  on this page.

Ideally, Amelia would do well in a family with other pets, as she’s been raised around cats and dogs.  Amelia is a special little girl who will be a wonderful addition to a loving family.

To learn more about Amelia, please email her foster mom, Rachel, at viollet10@gmail.com.

Cosmo (A092703)

Cosmo is a playful, gentle, and affectionately sweet girl who is looking for her forever home. Cosmo likes to spend her days playing with her feather wand, chasing her brothers around the couch, napping, and climbing to the top on Mt. Recliner Chair! She is great with other cats (she’s never interacted with a dog and she’s quite shy, so I’m not sure how she would do), and she has been wonderful with our young children. She is patient and calm when she is picked up, although she is still getting accustomed to being handled by humans. She loves being petted, and she will happily snooze right next to you on the couch for hours on end. Cosmo is such a sweet and gentle girl, and will make a wonderful pet for whomever is lucky enough to adopt her.

To learn more about Cosmo, please email her foster mom, Jill, at jilltobin@burbankusd.org.

Arya (A092574)

Hi, I’m Arya and I’m a spirited adventuress ready to take on the world. I will explore every nook and cranny of my home and love finding new places to stick my nose. I have scaled sofas, crawled into the dark cave under the Big Bed and even snuck inside of a guitar amp. Now, I’m ready to take on your world.

I’ve got tons of energy and I love playing with dogs, as well as my littermates so I would do great in a home with other pets. I also love chasing that little pink ball that rolls and rolls. Or that feather that keeps showing up when I don’t expect it. And when I just can’t play anymore, I find my foster human and crash in their lap.

If you’re looking for a kitten with that perfect combination of spunk and tenderness – and the softest coat you’d ever want to pet – I’m you’re girl!

To learn more about Arya, please email her foster mom at allimac59@earthlink.net.

Magic Mike (A092575)

My name’s Magic Mike and anyone who knows me will tell you I’m a pretty uncomplicated guy. I like to run around, under and over anything in my way and I will stalk your foot if I get the chance. Like your average man, I love a good meal and then will chill with you on the sofa so we can watch the big game together.

Be warned! I do have a reputation as a Lover Boy. When you pick me up, I just settle in for some quality time and have been known to give tons of kisses to the humans who foster me.

I chase the tails of the dogs, big and small, who live with me right now and we have fun together. I have 2 little sisters who I love and are up for adoption as well, so I would also be great in a home with other cats. But I do have an independent streak as well, so as long as you’re ready to be my friend, we will have a great life together!

To learn more about me, please contact my foster mom at allimac59@earthlink.net.

JimJam (A092990)

JimJam is the most gorgeous of her siblings. She has a real queen-of-the-jungle look with her soft gray paws and black-tipped ears. She is a leader; mature and independent and has a fine time being on her own, however she loves galloping and tussling with her siblings!

She is fine with being picked up and looks you right in the eye. She’s not at all aggressive and will climb up on your lap to find out exactly what you’re up to. JimJam is not at all afraid of the vacuum or of our big older cat so would do well on her own or with other pets.

To learn more about the regal JimJam, email her foster mother: bowleake@yahoo.com

Lily (A093160)

Lily is the epitome of precious. Cute as a button, she is a shy, gentle girl who may need a little time to really warm up to a new environment. She will reward you for your hospitality with warm cat naps in your lap and fun play sessions of chasing any small cat toy that moves! She loves food and purrs like crazy when being pet. Although she’s never been around a dog or child, she’s young, adaptable, and has the potential to flourish in either of those scenarios.

To learn more about Lily, please contact her foster parents at dthomashower@gmail.com.

Lucy (A092578)

Hi! My name is Lucy. I may not be the biggest kitten in my litter, but I make up for it with brains and personality. I was the first to figure out how to play with fun toys and even the first to take a sip out of the big cat water bowl. The rest of the kids just followed my lead.

I like to share my feelings so I’m gonna chat with you on occasion. I love to explore but I do it with caution. Like I said, I’m no dummy. I love to play with anything I can get my paws on and when I’m ready to settle down, I will seek you out and curl up on your chest and purr myself to sleep.

I’m also a bit of a mama’s girl. Since I was a small baby, my foster mama gave me extra attention and took care to make sure I was eating enough, even putting food on her finger for me. I would always take the extra food from her, so she keeps giving it to me that way. I’ve got her so trained.

I’ve been around some big dogs. I’m okay with them, but still a little cautious. I LOVE hanging with my brother and sister so any home with a cat would be great. I’m ready for anything!

To learn more about me, please contact my foster mom, Allison, at allimac59@earthlink.net.

Dipper (A092413)

It’s no mystery that Dipper is a sweet little boy! This little tabby mix loves to snuggle and sleep on our laps, and he also loves to play with his mouse toys and wrestle with his sister Mabel. He is the perfect blend of adventure and relaxation! After a long day of exploring and solving mysteries with his sister Mabel, he loves nothing more than to climb up on your lap to fall asleep! If you need a partner to help you thru life’s weirdness, Dipper is the one!

Dipper would do great if adopted with his sister Mabel or in a home with other pals to snuggle and play with! He does great with dogs big and small as well!

To learn more about Dipper, please email stephanie.elise.h@gmail.com.

Mabel (A092414)

The secret is out, Mabel is the nicest little girl! This little tortie girl is the softest little snuggle pal, and she loves an adventure where she can explore and run with her brother Dipper. She loves to run and play and wrestle and snuggle and sleep! If you need a headstrong buddy with a real big heart, Mabel is for you! In the words of Mabel’s namesake, Mabel Pines (from Gravity Falls), “My name is Mabel, but you can call me the girl of your dreams.”

Mabel would do great if adopted with her brother Dipper or in a home with other pals to snuggle and play with! She does great with dogs big and small as well!

To learn more about Mabel, please email Stephanie at Stephanie Southerland stephanie.elise.h@gmail.com

Jerry (A092373)

Jerry has a petite-sized body. He loves to be pet and hugged. He makes a cute chirp sound when he is curious and makes a cute purring sound when he is happy. He’s a bit shy around our other cats because they are bigger than him. When he is playful, he plays with other kittens gently. He came to us with his brother Tom (A092371), who is much bigger and more active than Jerry. Jerry loves wet food and will be the first one to come to eat it when it is offered and the first one to finish it. He would be a great pet to someone who wants to have a petite-sized lap cat. Jerry will be happy to be adopted alone or with his brother Tom (A092371).

To learn more about Jerry, please email his foster mom at seungwon.harbaugh@gmail.com.

Tom (A092371)

Tom is super curious! He loves to explore and see what is happening around him. He is very athletic and active. He can jump to any place he has set his mind to. He runs with a great speed. When he plays with our other cats, he is so playful but also gentle. He has such a sweet temper that he does not get scared or aggressive. When he is tired, he would go to one of our beds, stretch his body to his fullest length, and sleep so deeply that a normal noise would not wake him up. He loves to be pet. We can pick him up any time and give him lots of pets for a long time. A strong and active body with a sweet and gentle temper, that is what Tom has. Tom would be a great pet for anyone who loves to interact with an active and sweet kitten. He will be happy to be adopted alone or with his brother Jerry (A092373).

To learn more about Tom, please contact his foster mom at seungwon.harbaugh@gmail.com.

Jack (A092209)

Hi, I’m Jack and I am a super sweet, loving boy who loves to purr, cuddle with you, watch TV with you, nap with you. As soon as you pick me up I start to purr very loudly to let you know I am ready for some lovin’ I am also very playful… I have a new toy, a red birdie, that I play with all the time and the best part is that it squeaks the whole time I am playing with it! My foster Mom says I can take birdie with me when I go to my forever home!(She almost seems happier about that then I do?) Small confession, my foster Mom put baby food on my big boy food to entice me to eat it after the bottle I was on and I still like a small taste! So… if I can bring birdie and you have some baby food I’m your boy!

Please contact my foster Mom, Beverly at spingola@pacbell.net

Mo (A092207)

Hi, I’m Mo. I am a beautiful black and white kitten who is a perfect package all rolled into one great kitten! I love to run and play, I have my favorite mouse(no one else can have it!) I am curious and love to explore new and interesting nooks and crannies and I like to “hide” in my basket. Bet you can’t find me! One of my favorite things are toes! I like to be close to my foster Mom’s… just so I know where she is and what she is doing. That way I can help her with whatever she is doing! I am very sweet and cuddly, love to cuddle and purr up a storm. And as you can see, one thing I do very well is take naps!

I am Mo of Manny, Mo and Jack and my brothers found their forever homes and I would love to find mine! Please contact my foster Mom, Beverly at spingola@pacbell.net

Manny (A092208)

Hi, I ‘m Manny. I am a very sweet, loving boy! I like to play a lot, chase my brothers and play with my favorite mouse. I like to see what is going on with places I can’t see, especially the kitchen desk. (By the way, the mail that ended up on the floor, not my fault, it was very close to the edge anyway!) I love to cuddle a lot and after all that playing, I just love to nap on a nice warm lap. I am now ready for my forever home.

If you would like to meet me, please contact my foster mom, Beverly, at spingola@pacbell.net.

Wally (A092139)

Wally is a big, handsome bundle of kitten, an outgoing, confident, friendly guy. His favorite past-time is tearing through the house chasing after his sister, Lucy. Ever the gentleman, he usually lets Lucy “win” their tumbles and even lets her reverse course and chase him! He has recently discovered the windowsill and loves looking out at the great outdoors. Speaking of doors, he relentlessly tries to slip through them to go exploring at every opportunity. Like his sister, after playtime he likes nothing better to curl up next to any available human to cuddle and take a nap. It would be great if his permanent home included his sister, Lucy.

To learn more about Wally, please email John at WallyandLucy@ix.netcom.com.

Lucy (A092135)

Lucy is a big personality in a little package. She is a self-assured and confident girl always ready to explore and play. From her first day in our care, as a petite week-old kitten, she has held her own with her much larger brother, Wally. He might be able to over-power her (if he can catch her), but she out-wits him with her sneak attacks and greater speed. After a play session with her brother she is always ready for a snuggle and a belly-rub. It would be great if she could share a permanent home with her brother, Wally. She is an active kitten and needs a home where she will get the personal attention and activity she deserves.

To learn more about Lucy, please email John at WallyandLucy@ix.netcom.com.

Ravioli (A092401)

Ravioli is a sweet and fluffy cuddle bug. A little shy at first, once she warms up she turns into an adorable bundle of purrs. She loves to play and explore but most of all, she loves curling up next to her favorite human to snuggle and make biscuits.

Calm and quiet home preferred. Older children and other pets okay.

To learn more about Ravioli, please contact Marissa at mmackey777@gmail.com.

Topaz (A091462)

Topaz is a total sweetheart. She loves head rubs and back massages. As soon as she looks at you, she will start to purr. She has a lot of energy, and loves to play play play until she crashes next to you for a snuggle. She would love a home with a cat or dog playmate, or to be adopted with her sister Tourmaline.

To learn more about Topaz, please contact her foster mom, Katie, at kheat512@gmail.com.

Tourmaline (A091434)

Tourmaline is a beautiful girl, inside and out. She is a bit reserved, and might be shy at first when getting to know you, but given some time (and treats) she will be your best friend. She loves other cats, and would do well in a home with a buddy..be it her sister, Topaz or an older cat.

To learn more about Tourmaline, please contact her foster mom, Katie, at kheat512@gmail.com.

PeeWee (A092309)

I got my name because I am little. I love to be loved and will purr for you whenever you pet me. When it’s nap time I love to have my human to cuddle with. I have an older kitty that I play with now. Do you have a kitty for me to play with? Sometimes I chase a ball and I have some stuffed toys to play with too. I am OK with dogs. The two I am with now are very, very big and sometimes when they bark or take off running for no apparent reason, they scare me and I run and hide or sometimes I practice the drop and freeze method. Both work pretty good. My foster Mom tells me that I am soft and light as a cloud so she loves to pet me. My fur is all black, but I do have random white hairs all over my body.

To learn more about me, please contact me foster mom at thefunnyfarm@sbcglobal.net.

Puri (A092253)

Puri is a 3 month old charm school graduate well on her way to becoming a happy housecat. Although she was initially nervous in her new home, Puri had a breakthrough of purring during cuddle time in the first week. Since then, she has earned her name from her tendency to immediately purr upon being picked up, pet, or sometimes even just approached. A keen hunter, Puri excels at stalking and pouncing on everything from springy toys to small bugs. She once jumped and caught a fly out of midair! Puri’s other talents include finding the softest pillow in the house to lie on, and coming up with the most stretched out, luxurious sleeping poses. She is a curious girl gaining confidence every day and is determined to explore every inch of the house. Puri will be a very loving companion to her new family. She is best friends with her foster sister Kira and would love to be adopted with her.

To learn more about Puri, please contact Veena at veena.vignale@gmail.com

Kira A092240)

Kira is a 4 month old charm school graduate training to become a great house cat. She started off very untrusting of humans but has been coming around a little at a time and revealing her inner sweetness. Kira will do just about anything for a meal or a tasty treat. She sometimes gets nervous when being picked up, but quickly settles into petting and cuddling, and the purring engine goes into full gear before you know it. Kira enjoys watching television with plenty of nature shots, or even better, with other cats. She is very playful and active but ultimately nothing makes her happier than chowing down on a tasty meal and filling her cute little belly — have a treat on hand and you’ll soon be friends! Kira is very close and affectionate with her foster sister, Puri, and they would love to be adopted together.

To learn more about Kira, please contact Veena at veena.vignale@gmail.com

Olive (A092266)

Looking for a cat that is cute and handsome at the same time and can steal your heart? Look no further! Olive is an adorable 4 month old tabby boy and he is ready for his new home. He loves to chase and pounce on his wand toy and can play for hours. Aside from being adorable, fluffy, and handsome, he loves to cuddle on chests and laps and enjoys his cheeks and chins being rubbed to get his purr motor running. He plays a little hard to get, but once picked up and cuddled, he will quickly snuggle all over you. Olive is still learning how to be a good house cat and is still a little shy and nervous at new sounds and objects but is very curious about everything. With lots of love, Olive will become a confident kitty in no time. If this sweet little boy with a big purr engine sounds like a perfect match, send me a message!

To learn more about Olive, please contact his foster mom, Annie, at theanniehsu@gmail.com.

Damien (A092321)

Damien is a big goofball who loves couch time and food. He’s adventurous but not very good at landing his jumps yet, he needs to work on his balancing skills! He’s very friendly and weaves between my feet while I cook. He’s not very chatty but loves to put a paw on you during snuggle time. He loves playtime and is an adventurous cat. He loves my older cat, he runs up and curls into her side whenever he can. Damien is playful but pretty laid back, he’s always down to curl into your side and watch a movie, especially if you have a good blanket! Damien would do well in a home by himself or with other cats.

To learn more about Damien, please contact his foster mom, Megan, at mmcholla@asu.edu.

Cassian (A092322)

Cass has the biggest “heart eyes” for you! He loves staring at you while you work and his big eyes are hard to resist. He’s a shy boy who plays hard to get but definitely wants to be your friend! He sneaks in for snuggles while you’re sleeping. His favorite spot is behind the legs. He will ALWAYS let you know when it’s dinner time, he gets really chatty and follows you everywhere. When he isn’t playing with string toys, he loves finding comfy spots to nap in. I’ve recently found him in my laundry basket and fabric bin. He loves watching the TV with you, particularly action movies. He’s also a sucker for cat games on your phone! He’d tap at my iPad all day if he could. He can be a bit scared when it comes to fast movements, and he also prefers to initiate play times – he wants affection on his own terms! It will take him a bit to get comfortable but then he will be your best friend. Once he’s in your arms he purrs nonstop! Since Cassian is easily startled, he would prefer a home without dogs.

To learn more about Cassian, please contact his foster mom, Megan, at mmcholla@asu.edu.

Tatiana (A092490)

Tatiana is a tiny, delicate tortoise-shell with pretty blue/green eyes and whimsical grey and gold markings. She was found with her brother, Mr. Jamie Frazier, both very scared and starved at six weeks old, but has blossomed into a healthy, loving, very playful fairy princess. She’s quite social and would prefer to be adopted with her brother, but would also make a great companion kitty for another cat. Super sweet and gentle, she purrs as soon as you stroke her, and makes a unique cooing, dove sound when she’s playing with her toys. Her hobbies are personal grooming, world exploration, cuddling and casting fairy love spells.

To learn more about Tatiana, please contact her foster mom, Shanda, at shandasawyer@mac.com.

Mr. Jamie Frazier (A092491)

Mr. Jamie Frazier is a gorgeous ginger tabby with unique Ocelot-like markings and big blue-green eyes. He was found with his tiny sister Tatiana, both very scared and starved at six weeks old, but has grown into a healthy, sweet and playful little cuddle monster. He’s super social and would do best if he’s adopted with his sister, but could also make a great companion kitty for another cat or friendly dog. Very gentle and loving, he purrs as soon as he’s stroked. His hobbies are climbing, competitive purring and charming all the ladies (and gentlemen).

To learn more about Mr. Jamie Frazier, please contact his foster mom, Shanda, at shandasawyer@mac.com.

Nate (A091974)

Hey there! I’m Nate and I love to cuddle! I hope you don’t like to use your hands for much because, if you are sitting down, you are GOING to be using those hands for petting me! If you even look at me I’ll start purring so loud you can hear it from across the room. I LOVE to play with other cats, even cats that are bigger than me! And I like to cuddle my foster sister Eglantine who is a little bit scared sometimes. I don’t really blame her though. If I’m on the floor, everyone looks like Godzilla so 9 times out of 10 I’d run away from that too! I’m mostly just a big goofball with a little but of medium-hair fluff and a lot of heart!

If you’re interested in learning more about me, please email my foster mom dana@thevbas.org and she will take care of all the computer stuff so we can have a video chat!

Eglantine (A092108)

Does your cat want a little sister? Someone to shower them with endless affection and on-demand playtime? Maybe your cat would like a real life warm, snuggly toy? You should meet Eglantine.

Eglantine is a 4-month old, long-haired tortie and she is an absolute sweetheart of a kitten who loves every cat she’s ever met. She loves cats so much that she gets upset when she’s not around one. You could call her the ultimate cat lady! She’s a little bit shy around people, but once she gets used to you she will purr, let you pick her up, and pet her. But honestly, like the true cat lady she is, she’d much rather have feline companionship. Eglantine is open to adult cats and kittens and is so gentle that she would even make a good companion for an elderly cat. Judging by her toe fluff, she probably has some Maine Coon in her.

If you (and your cat) would like to meet Eglantine, please email her foster mom dana@thevbas.org to learn more about her and set up a video meet and greet.

I get along well with other cats if they are friendly and not aggressive, and I’m always up for a good kitten wrassle. When I am not busy playing, I have my sweet, affectionate side. I like to cuddle and I have a loud purr. When I’m stretching out, I’d like you to rub my tummy!

To learn more about me, please contact my foster mom, Michele, at michele.lacher@gmail.com.

Rigatoni (A092399)

Rigatoni is a sweet and playful little boy. He loves chasing toys and pouncing his siblings. He also has a bit of a mischievous streak and enjoys hiding behind doors or under furniture, laying in wait for an unsuspecting sibling or a human foot to get close, before lunging our in a squeaky attack like the tiny micro panther he is.

Rigatoni would do well in a quiet to moderately busy home with another furry friend to play with and humans who can keep up with his energetic nature.

To learn more about Rigatoni, please contact his foster mom, Marissa, at mmackey777@gmail.com.

Tommy (A092416)

Hi, I am Tommy. I am a sweet little guy that is a bit shy first. I am snuggly and like to play but also love to have it a bit quiet. A household that is looking to add a furry friend to their family would be a dream for me and even better if they already have another cat/dog. I am really comfortable with animal companions. I am ready to find my furever home and show you what it means to get some cat-advancement!

Please contact my foster mom at sabine@acsla.com for more info.

Piper (A091669)

Meet bonded sisters, Piper and Penelope! They had a bit of a rough start, but these two Kitten Charm School graduates are ready for adoption and looking for their furever home. At first, they did not know what to make of humans and had some trust issues, and so they decided to hide out with the resident cat during their first set of classes. Luckily, the VBAS knew they had potential and moved them forward to classes with their current foster parents.

These two have really come to depend on each other. They even have secret chirps they use to call to one another. And if they can’t find each other, they go throughout the house chirping until they do. They can be super chill, but they also love to play a lot. One of their favorite games is keep away with the toy bacon. But when they are chill, they love to hang out and clean each other and fall asleep.

Piper was the first to come out of the shell and realized humans were ok. She can still be a little skittish when she sees fast movement, but calms down pretty quickly once she sees you mean her no harm. Piper is the athlete of the two. She loves to tackle her sister all of the time, and will sometime tackle our feet when we are in bed. We will also find her occasionally pawing a little tomato toy back and forth through the living room. We think she might have been a soccer player in a previous life. Like her sister, Piper is a klepto, and loves to bring toys to the bed after stealing them. She is not quite the head bonker yet, but she does love to rub up against your legs, especially if you are in the bathroom. Being picked up is not her favorite, but she has learned to tolerate it more and more. She also has figured out that the bed is very comfy and her favorite spot to sleep is between her foster parents, where it is nice and warm. You can tell she is very content, once you see her blep.

These two have blossomed, and with time, will become more lovey than they currently are. They would do best in a quiet home, and would be a great addition to an experienced cat family or someone with patience, who can help them grow. If you are interested in adopting a bonded pair, contact their foster mom, Mayra, at kittehkaos2020@gmail.com.

Penelope (A091671)

Meet bonded sisters, Penelope and Piper! They had a bit of a rough start, but these two Kitten Charm School graduates are ready for adoption and looking for their furever home. At first, they did not know what to make of humans and had some trust issues, and so they decided to hide out with the resident cat during their first set of Charm School classes.

Penelope is still a little shy at first, but if you are patient, she will show you her big personality. She might have been the runt of the litter, but she makes up for her small size with her large sass. She will get in your face if she sees food and will let you know she wants some. She also loves head bonking and the occasional belly rub. And you will really know she is loving it when she starts to purr. One of her funny quirks, as well as her sister Piper’s, is that they are kleptos. There have been many times that socks have gone missing, only to be found near their beds. She can tolerate being picked up more so than her sister, and will occasionally put her chin on your shoulder. She also has figured out that the bed is very comfy and loves to sleep between her foster parents’ pillows, or between their legs.

These two have blossomed, and with time, will become more lovey than they currently are. They would do best in a quiet home, and would be a great addition to an experienced cat family or someone with patience, who can help them grow. If you are interested in adopting this little bonded pair, contact their foster mom, Mayra, at kittehkaos2020@gmail.com.

Cleo (A092546)

To learn more about Cleo, please contact her foster mom, Sonia, at soniajoy98@gmail.com.

Luna (A092547)

Luna is an independent, spirited kitty who loves treats, pets, and lying in the sun. She isn’t a huge cuddler but she loves getting neck scratches and is a purr machine!

Ariel (A091670)

Hi, I am Ariel, and I want to be a part of your world. My sister Belle and I are currently getting some much-needed TLC with our foster parents, as we came to them after being at the shelter for a bit. I am still learning to open-up to humans, but I was the first to come out of my shell and have adapted quickly to foster life. I am still a bit shy, but I can be very friendly once I trust you.

When I want to be near you, I will let you know. I will go and plop right on your lap and let you know that you need to pay attention to me. I am a big purr monster and I love to be aggressively petted on the head. If you don’t, I will let you know with my meows. I also don’t mind belly rubs, but I am not very fond of being picked up.

I do like to play a lot with my sister Belle, and on occasion try to play with my foster parents’ two grouchy cats Miyu and Tabitha. Our foster mom has told us that Miyu is still not having it, but we are starting to grow on Tabitha. When Belle and I are tired, we will sleep pretty much anywhere. One of my favorite spots to sleep is on my foster dad’s lap. And if he is not sitting, on his chair. He has a very comfy cushion on the chair.

At night, I like to cuddle with my sister, but lately, we figured out that our foster parents are very warm, and their bed is soft, so we have been sneaking into their bedroom and sleeping between them. And sometimes when I wake up, I decide to burrow inside my foster mom’s neck. I know she likes it and it makes her feel loved.

I love company so I hope you can adopt me with my sister Belle. If that is not possible, I would love a home with other animal friends to play with. I am not afraid of grouchy older cats, so that would be fine too.

So if you want to learn more about me and my sister Belle, please contact our foster parents Mayra and Stewart at kittehkaos2020@gmail.com.

Belle (A091672)

Hi, I am Belle, and I want so much more than this provincial life. My sister Ariel and I are currently getting some much-needed TLC with our foster parents, as we came to them after being at the shelter for a bit. I am still learning to open-up to humans, and I am the shyest of the two of us, but I can be very friendly once I trust you.

Now there are a couple of things that stick out the most about me. I am a total daddy’s girl. I have to be where he is. I don’t care if he is working or playing video games. I will just plop myself on his lap. Also, wherever he goes, I go. I even follow him to the bathroom, so I clearly don’t respect privacy or boundaries. And I also figured out how to play “fetch”.

I do like to play a lot with my sister Ariel, and on occasion try to play with my foster parents’ two grouchy cats Miyu and Tabitha. Our foster mom has told us that Miyu is still not having it, but we are starting to grow on Tabitha. When Ariel and I are tired, we will sleep pretty much anywhere. I am a bit more independent than my sister, so you can sometimes find me sleeping inside the piano.

At night, I like to cuddle with my sister, but lately, we figured out that our foster parents are very warm and their bed is soft, so we have been sneaking into their bedroom and sleeping between them. And sometimes when I wake up, I decide to burrow between their pillows and put my head on their pillow and my paw holding them.

I love company so I hope you can adopt me with my sister Ariel. If that is not possible, I would love a home with other animal friends to play with. I am not afraid of grouchy older cats, so that would be fine too.

So if you want to learn more about me and my sister Ariel, please contact our foster parents Mayra and Stewart at kittehkaos2020@gmail.com.

Rosie (A092197)

Rosie is the best combination of sweet and goofy, she has a big loving heart with even bigger hazel eyes that make you melt. She will chase anything that moves, run around the house like a parkour athlete and then will want to settle down and cuddle. Rosie loves to climb up in bed when she knows it’s bed time, loves to cuddle while binge watching tv, basically if there is a lap to cuddle on, she’s on it! Rosie has the cutest meow and loves to use it when she wants to attention, whether she wants to eat or a companion to play or cuddle with, once you hear her purrr like an engine you know she got exactly what she wanted.

Rosie’s ideal forever home would be somewhere with committed companionship from another kitten (or kitten at heart) or a human who has a lot of time and love to give, and allows her to cuddle up on the furniture with them. Rosie personality thrives in a calm and quiet environment, she was a scared/shy kitten when she first came into foster, until she realized humans gave great cuddles, and a calm and quiet environment allows her sweet yet a tad introverted personality to shine!

To learn more about Rosie, please email her foster mom, Grace, at gracelissa@outlook.com.

Mittens (A092100)

Mittens is a highly active and playful kitten. When she is not playing, all she wants to do is take long naps on a lap and be cuddled with. She is ready for her forever home. She is shy, especially with strangers. Once she knows her surroundings all she wants is to jump and play. Wand toys are her favorite. You can find her running in her sleep trying to catch her next prey. Once she gets to know you, she will sleep on you while you watch tv or work on your computer.

To learn more about Mittens, please call Ranna at (818)-836-0122.

Pearl (A092056)

Pearl is a little cautious around humans, and would do well with a cat-savvy owner that knows when to give her some space, and when to approach. That being said, she loves getting facials and chin scratches after nap time and can be quite the purr machine! Even though she’s shy with people, she’s a total social butterfly around other cats, and if she’s not adopted with her sister Marble then she would love a home with other animal friends to play with. She is well mannered and knows not to scratch or bite others, but she does like to play rough and tumble with her sister! Pearl is meticulous about hygiene, and takes her time making sure her litter is covered perfectly, and her impressive grooming habits keep her shiny black coat as soft as silk!

To learn more about Pearl, please email her foster mom at sarahcalle@gmail.com.

Marble (A092057)

Marble is a polite little lady, and will tolerate being picked up and having her nails clipped, but overall she’s still learning to loosen up around people. When it comes to food time, however, she throws all caution to the wind and showers you in affection, purrs, and leg rubs! Marble is a ball of energy: she may not stay on your lap very long, but she loves to play, sprinting after balls and chasing string. She’s also quite agile, and it’s easy for her to jump onto counters and desks. Marble gets along well with her sister Pearl, and would do well with other cats, but she would also be fine in a cat-less home as long as her playful needs are well met by her owner!

To learn more about Marble, please email her foster mom at sarahcalle@gmail.com.

Otis (A091796)

Luna (A091976)

Luna is a sweet girl and is extremely gentle (when it comes to eating, playing, being handled, her vocal quality, etc). She is very adventurous and full of courage, so don’t be surprised when she is inspecting every nook and cranny in your home!

Luna will thrive in a home so long as she has the love and affection from her new family (whether it be human or animal).

Strega Nona A091418

Strega Nona is a beautiful kitten with unique tortie markings and the silkiest fur. When she arrived at the shelter, she was a scared kitten who had been living on the streets and protecting her little brother Big Anthony. She had trouble adjusting to humans, but has come a long way since then. She is still shy and may hiss at sudden movements, but she will even sleep on the bed with you. She is very enthusiastic about playing with any kind of interactive toy. She would love to get adopted with her brother into a family that will be patient and help her come out of her (tortie) shell.

To learn more about Strega Nona, please email Kelli at kyoungblood52@gmail.com

Big Anthony A091417

Big Anthony came to us near the end of April. He was the runt of his litter, but had a huge belly that he still loves to have rubbed. He was found on the street so he had no exposure to humans, but he has flourished in foster care. He became a very social, playful, and affectionate young man. He of course enjoys playing with cat toys, but he also likes to play with things like pipe cleaners and legos. He would love to be adopted with his sister Strega Nona, who relies on him because she’s shy. He is great with kids, and loves to snuggle. He’ll even sleep in your bed if you let him, purring all night. Once you meet this little guy, you’ll fall in love!

To learn more about Big Anthony, please contact Kelli at kyoungblood52@gmail.com

Sandra Dee A091725

Sandra Dee is a one year old little lady who came to the shelter as a stray with her kittens. She was so shy we initially thought she was feral but it didn’t take long for her to blossom into a perfect, sweet, playful kitty. She is still learning how to be a house cat as she never had a home so she will need someone with experience with cats to help her come out of her shell. But beside being a little shy her personality is so extremely gentle, she loves to be pet and she loves all her toys and treats. She has a funny personality, sometimes you wonder where she is and she is sleeping in a confined space but as soon as she sees you she will chirp to be pet. She is good with other cats, she has never even hissed at the resident cats. She is so sweet she would do well with respectful kids as well. She is easy to pick up, trim nails, do most anything…literally a perfect kitty!

If you are interested in adopting beautiful, sweet Sandra Dee please email Irina@thevbas.org.

To learn more about Mitzi, please contact her foster mom, Rachel, at viollet10@gmail.com.

Miku A091904

If Miku could talk! His biggest adventure so far has been hitching a ride in a car engine compartment when he was about 6 weeks old! Miraculously he was uninjured when a nice officer at the Burbank Animal Shelter rescued him. Understandably, Miku was a bit overwhelmed at first and was able to relax in his new foster home. He is now super playful with his foster kitty sibling is great with the family dog! Miku still has a bit of a shy side but is also a cuddly boy and will purr the minute he feels your touch.

To learn more about Miku, please contact his foster mom, Marisol, at marisolorozco2181@gmail.com

Fred is the runt of his litter of 4. He may be little but he holds his own. He loves playing with his brother Shaggy. They play, eat, drink and even use the litter box at the same time. He loves to climb up on you and take a nice long nap. Since we all have so much time at home now, he and Shaggy are the perfect kittens to keep you company. They would love to be adopted together.

To learn more about Guillermo, please contact his foster mom at kheat512@gmail.com.

Petey

He quickly recovered and has grown into a very loving, sweet and playful little cuddle monster. He’s quite social and would love to be adopted with his foster sister Natalia but would also make a great companion kitty for another cat or friendly dog. He loves to explore and nap on laps – purrs as soon as he’s stroked. His hobbies are wrestling stuffed animals, competitive eating and computer sciences.

Hi, my name is Suzy. I am a cute, very playful little girl. I love to chase a fly on the window, balls, or my siblings. I am a little shy first but wait until I settle in and show you my full potential! If you are interested, please contact my foster mom at sabine@acsla.com for more info.

Leo

Leo is a steadfast coworker while his foster mom is working from home. Even if he primarily sleeps on the job, he tries to show up for zoom meetings. Although he was a shy guy when he came to his foster home, after mom discovered he could be motivated by treats, he decided to come out from under the bed and be a part of the family. Leo now comes to us for petting – face and ears are the best! Leo eats well, exercises by sprinting around the house, and is generally a low maintenance, congenial guy. He would do best in a calm environment with a person who will let him be himself, while providing windows to look out of and lots of loving pets.

To learn more about Leo, please contact his foster mom, Sally, at jschew@sbcglobal.net.

Lilly

After getting fixed this week, I will soon be ready to find my furever home and show you what it means to get some cat-advancement!

Please contact my foster mom at sabine@acsla.com for more info.

Natalia

Natalia is a tiny, elegant Russian Blue mix – with luminous blue/green eyes and the signature (and possibly less allergenic) double coat. This little gypsy princess was found at six weeks old, living on her own in a field. She’s since learned to appreciate the finer things in life: a cozy bed, yummy kitten food, and mentoring her adopted younger brother, Peter the Magnificent.

She’s very social and would love to be adopted with her foster brother, but would also make a great companion kitty for another cat. She’s smart, sweet, and polite, purrs as soon as you stroke her, and loves hanging out close to you. Her hobbies are personal grooming, world exploration, cuddling, and computer sciences.

To learn more about this little gem, please email her foster mom at shandasawyer@mac.com.

Nuzzle

Did we just name this kitten for the one thing she loves to do more than anything? You bet we did! Nuzzle is a little cutie who loves to be on your lap or by your side. She is prone to purring when touched and looking adorable all the time, if you’re in to that sort of thing. What’s that you say? You ARE in to that sort of thing? That’s great!

Nuzzle gets along great with her siblings Freddie and Pounce, our big cats, and even loves our dogs! She would love to be adopted with one of her siblings but would do fine in a home with another cat or dog as a friend.

To learn more about Nuzzle, please email her foster mom, Stephanie, at stephanie.elise.h@gmail.com.

Freddie

Freddie is an adorable little boy who loves to run and play! He is very curious and loves to explore, and especially loves to follow our adult cats around and help them with whatever mischief they’re up to. He can entertain himself for hours with his mouse toys, and when he finally wears himself out he is the best little snuggle buddy.

Freddie gets along great with his sisters Nuzzle and Pounce, our adult cats, and even loves our dogs! He would love to be adopted with one of his sisters but would do fine in a home with another cat or dog as a friend.

To learn more about Freddie, please email her foster mom, Stephanie, at stephanie.elise.h@gmail.com.

Pounce

Pounce is a tale of two kitties. By day she is rambunctious and ready for a wrestling match, and by night she is a snuggle and purr machine. She has a spunky, adorable personality and makes us laugh! She is the only kitten that our adult cat Phoebe will snuggle with and she loves to help bathe her siblings after a wrestling match. Basically, Pounce is the ideal cat.

Pounce gets along great with her siblings Freddie and Nuzzle, our big cats, and even loves our dogs! She would love to be adopted with one of her siblings but would do fine in a home with another cat or dog as a friend.

To learn more about Pounce, please email her foster mom, Stephanie, at stephanie.elise.h@gmail.com.

Kili

Hi, I’m Kíli! Yes, I’m named after my foster 5 year old’s favorite dwarf from The Hobbit, but I think it suits me. When I first arrived at the shelter I was a little afraid of people and I wasn’t quite sure how to act, but after a couple weeks at home I started showing my true colors and they now constantly tell me I’ve become “the best kitten ever”.

I’m a huge fan of this green ball that hangs on the end of a long stick, especially when the kids in my house swing it all over the place. I’ve already made friends with the adult cats in my foster house, and I get lots of snuggles from the kids that live here. Believe it or not, I actually don’t even get scared when the 1 year old chases me all over the house!

When I finally get tired from playing I like to lay next to a human and drape myself over their lap to fall asleep, they tell me it’s pretty cute.

If you want to hear more about me, or even meet me, you can call my foster mom, Natasha at 818-268-6061.

Goose

Sweet baby angel that loves a good petting! As the runt of the litter, Goose is tinier than her brother Big Tony, but that doesn’t stop her from going ham when they wrestle! Although she can’t be easily distracted from playing, she’s often calm and is usually the first of the two to start pawing at your leg when she wants attention.

Goose can come off as a little aloof to new people at first, but she quickly adjusts. Be ready for her to want to spend most of her time on or near you! A catnap connoisseur, she loves snuggling up on your lap, back, or kneading into nooks and crannies like the crook of your arm or under a pillow. Other specialties include sniffing out unattended plates of food, watching TV with her humans, and generally being an all-around cutie!

Goose would do well as an only kitten but will also be ok with a buddy that is willing to (gently!) play with her. If you’re looking for a kitten that’s more of a chilled out cuddle-buddy, Goose wants to meet you!

To learn more about Goose, please email her foster mom at sarah.katherine.craig@gmail.com.

Big Tony

Tiny but mighty, a goofy lil’ guy! Favorite pastimes include chasing/climbing anything that moves, wrestling his sister Goose, thinking he’s bigger than he actually is, and occasionally spooking himself in the mirror. No slippers, shoelaces, or loose hair are safe from his tiny grasp. Big Tony likes to act tough sometimes, but when he finally loses steam, you’ll find him gently pawing at your feet and melting into a purring puddle in your arms, especially when cradled (warning: he’s known to become so relaxed that he may slip out of your arms like jelly!).

Big Tony is typically apprehensive of new faces but adjusts quickly, and while he’s ok with being alone, he’d most likely do best in a home with a buddy that’s also energetic and participate in his shenanigans!

To learn even more about Big Tony, please email his foster mom at sarah.katherine.craig@gmail.com.

Ferdinand

Ferdinand is an orange tabby kitten just a little over 2 months old. He gets his name from the children’s book “Ferdinand”, Although he is a little bigger than most kittens his age, he has the most gentle soul, the softest fur and purrs like an engine! Ferdinand was a shy kitten when he first arrived at his foster home, but with time, food (lots of treats!) and love, he quickly transformed into the loving cuddly kitten he is now. Ferdinand loves to cuddle and play every chance he gets. When he is not cuddling or playing with his best friend Zipper, he is stalking the birds outside through the window. The best home for Ferdinand would be a quieter home and he would love to be adopted with his best friend Zipper, however he would adapt well to another kitten or being the only cat as long as you have time to play with him.

To learn more about Ferdinand, please contact his foster mom at gracelissa@outlook.com.

Zipper

Zipper is a black and white, Tuxedo. He is the definition of tiny but mighty! Although his best friend Ferdinand is bigger than him, he is not afraid to play wrestle with him. He is very curious and loves to explore. Zipper is also very talkative and is sure to let you know if he wants anything, or just meow so you know he is in the room! Although Zipper loves to play and explore, he lives for attention. When he is done with his many adventures, he loves to nap and cuddle with his foster mama or his best friend Ferdinand.

The best home for Zipper would be somewhere he can have a play buddy. He would love to be adopted with his best friend Ferdinand, however as long as he has another kitty or human that can match his energy he would be perfectly fine!

To learn more about Zipper, please contact his foster mom at gracelissa@outlook.com.

Stardust

Stardust is a sweet and low key cat who loves stretching out in a patch of sun for a nap. But when she isn’t napping, she is pouncing toy mice, chasing balls and wrestling with her brother Ziggy. She is always either sitting on the back of her foster mom’s chair or curling up in her lap while she is on the computer.

Stardust would love to be adopted into a quiet household with either a furry friend or a human that is home most of the time.

To learn more about Stardust, please contact her foster mom at mmackey777@gmail.com.

Ziggy

Ziggy is a sweet natured boy who loves to play, climb and explore. He’s a little shy at first, but once he warms up he loves to get ear and chin scratches. His favorite hobbies are attacking toy mice, wrestling with his sister Stardust, and walking on his mom’s keyboard when she’s playing WoW.

Ziggy would love to be adopted into a quiet home with another furry friend to keep him company.

To learn more about Ziggy, please contact his foster mom at mmackey777@gmail.com.

Oscar

This little guy loves a cuddle and lap to snuggle on. Tickle his belly and rub his ears and he’ll purr. He’s an affectionate, mellow and quiet guy and can sit on your lap all day. He likes to play with toys but will be back on your lap snuggling soon after.
Just 8 weeks old, this black and brown male tabby was found as a stray on the streets of Burbank. He came in as a slightly hissy kitten but is getting much more confident day by day. But the most he did was a small hiss as you approach the pen. He’s fine to pick up and once on your lap he’ll be happy there. He’s been quiet confident with our small dog, although only socializing at a distance, he has comfortably shared a sofa with the dog. Watch his video to see how well he can entertain himself! Oscar will make a great addition to your family.

Please inquire about him by emailing his foster mom at etudor81@hotmail.com to learn even more!

Archie

Have you ever seen a fluffy angel in the shape of a cat? If you’re looking at Archie, then now you have! Archie is a two-month old, long-haired, flame point Siamese who is into AGGRESSIVE head-petting, snuggling with people on the couch, and playing with other cats. He is a good boy who would make a nice friend for your current feline companion, but he would also do well on his own. He loves to wrestle, chase any cat tail he sees (including his own), and snuggle up with the first warm thing that will let him do it.

If you’d like to know more about Archie, please email his foster mom dana@thevbas.org.

Billy (A090410)

Hi! My name is Billy (or Bill)! I’m looking for a family that has my same interests…playing with feather toys, sun bathing, bird watching, cuddling and eating! I’d even love another energetic roommate if it was in the cards.  You’d also think I’m still a kitten because I’m a tiny boy, BUT I’m almost full grown but half the size of the kitties at my foster home. I’m very sweet, affectionate, very social and easily won over with belly and cheek scratches. They call me Casanova because I’m always handing out kisses (licks).

Please contact my foster mom at msnikkiwood@gmail.com to learn even more about me.

Watson

Hi, I am Watson and I am a total extrovert. I love to play, and my favorite toy happens to be my brother Sherlock, and his tail. We get along great and after a long day of roughhousing, I love to sleep next to him. Sometimes he and I will curl up together on top of our foster mom. She loves it as we keep her toasty.

I am totally adventurous and fearless. Everything is a toy to me. I love to climb all over the place, and I am not afraid to jump. But despite all that energy, I love to cuddle. I even love belly rubs and don’t mind being picked up or kissed. And I will let you know how content I am with my loud purr. And if I’m not content or I am tired, I will let you know with my meows and wait for you to pet me, pick me up, and/or let me snuggle. And like my brother, I am the vocal one, especially when I am hungry, and I see my foster mom in the kitchen.

I am currently living with my brother, Sherlock, and my foster parent’s two older cats, Miyu and Tabi. My foster sisters don’t really know what to think of me or my brother (maybe we have too much energy for them). I want to play with them, but they don’t seem happy with that idea, but it’s ok, I still go up to them and play with them a bit. They can be a little grouchy, but I am not afraid of them and it makes me want to seek them out more.

Because I have a lot of energy and love to play with other cats, I’d love to be adopted along with my brother, Sherlock. I have too much energy to be a solo cat and because he’s my partner in crime, he keeps me entertained and out of trouble. Having the two of us together would be great, especially if you work long days.

If you want to learn more about myself and my brother Sherlock, please contact my foster parents, Mayra and Stewart, at mayralgallo@gmail.com.

Sherlock

Hi, I am Sherlock and I might be an old soul in a kitten’s body. I love to play, but I think my favorite past time is napping. I am pretty chill and love taking naps on the bed, under the piano, next to the food bowl, or on my foster parents’ laps or their pillows. I’ll sleep just about anywhere.

I am a little shy at first, but after we get acquainted, I am a bit of a purr-monster and I don’t mind being picked up and snuggled. I like pets and belly rubs, and I am a bit vocal, especially when I am hungry, and I see my foster mom in the kitchen. The vacuum is a strange toy, but I show it who is boss when it is sleeping!

I am currently living with my brother, Watson, and my foster parent’s two older cats, Miyu and Tabi. My foster sisters don’t really know what to make of me or my brother (maybe we have too much energy for them), but I do like to hang out with them if they let me. My foster sisters Miyu and Tabi can be a little grouchy, but I am not afraid of them and it makes me want to seek them out more. Because I love to play and like company, I mainly tag along on adventures with my brother, Watson. I’d love to be adopted with him because he keeps me company and I really do not like being a solo cat. Plus, he also needs somebody to keep him out of trouble. Scrappy

Hey, I’m Scrappy! I am a very handsome gray tabby cat, and I know it. I will follow you around the house like a dog, and I’m always very curious to see what everyone is getting into (and to see how I can interrupt it to get some cuddle time). I’m extremely playful but also love being a lap cat. I love to find funny places to take naps…anything to get you to laugh! I would prefer to be adopted with my sister Velma (the two of us together are good entertainment value) so we’re pretty much bonded. I will get along well in a house with anyone and don’t mind kids approaching me or picking me up. I am curious about dogs as well! I can’t wait to meet you and find my forever home!

To learn more about me, please email my foster mom at jadynbeyer@gmail.com.

Velma

Hi, I’m Velma! I’m a fluffy, and petite, beautiful black kitten with gorgeous green eyes. Jinkies–hope I don’t sound full of myself! It’s just the truth. I’m a lap kitty and I love to cuddle, and though I am discerning, I am very playful as well. I spend my days doing what cats do best–eating, playing until I get tuckered out, and then sprawling out for naps in my kitten hammock. I would prefer to be paired with my brother, Scrappy. We are pretty much bonded, so being together will make me very happy as we are so playful and need to get that kitten energy out…and then we can snuggle up against each other. I can’t wait to meet you and find my forever home!

To learn more about me, please email my foster mom at jadynbeyer@gmail.com.

Kira

Meet Kira, Queen of the Torties! Kira is a 2-month old female tortoiseshell kitten who has earned those subtle stripes under her black coat. She is 25% play, 25% exploring her domain, 25% snuggles, and 25% independent tortie business. All you have to do is look at her and she purrs. She enjoys human companionship and prefers to sit beside your lap rather than on it. If Kira could have her way, she would play all day long with her cat… friends? Subjects? She undoubtedly thinks of them as subjects. She loves to chase her own tail, scale humans as if they are mountains, and chew on her sisters’ ears. Kira is fearless and she has done well with other cats. If you’re looking for a companion for you and/or your cat, Kira would love to brighten your day and warm up the side of your leg.

Email her foster mom at dana@thevbas.org if you’re interested.

Emma

Hi! My name is Emma, and like my literary namesake, I am a very beautiful girl. I have a funny little personality, and my foster mom learns new things about me every day. I’m pretty quiet, and I like to be cautious and survey the area before getting involved in new situations. That doesn’t mean I don’t like to play! I wrestle with my brothers, jump for dangling toys, and carry crinkle balls into corners to play with them by myself. I like to feel secure and cozy, and if you pick me up and hold me, or put me in your lap, i’m content to stay there for a long time. I would love to go to a home with my brother Knightley, we snuggle every day and night when we finally feel worn out.

Contact my foster mom at solson84@outlook.com to learn more about me, and how you can add add me to your loving home.

Knightley

Hi! I’m Knightley, and I am the little adventurer of my group. I’m always ready to explore new places and climb to new heights. I enjoy attention from my foster mom, and often use her lap as a place to wrestle with toys or my siblings. I’m definitely the life of the party, and like to be the center of attention whenever possible. I love my siblings a lot, and would really like to go to a home with my sister Emma, we snuggle up together every time we run out of energy.

Contact my foster mom if you would like to know more about me, and how I could liven up your home! solson84@outlook.com.

Elton

Hi! My name is Elton, and I’m a big lover. Every time my foster mom walks into the room, I’m the first to greet her, with a tiny meow and loud purrs. I am calm and confident in new situations, happy to be around people, and not intimidated by adult cats. I love playing and wrestling with my siblings, but I also enjoy one-on-one play with humans and the toys they offer.

Contact my foster mom to hear more about me, and discuss how I might be the perfect kitten for you! solson84@outlook.com.

Hank is very playful, and enjoys taking naps with his brother Gus. He’s a special boy and will make a wonderful addition to a family.

Jasper

Hi! I’m Jasper! My foster mom tells my I am a lovable, playful, energetic kitten that loves to play and snuggle with my sister Emily. I can be a little shy, but once I get used to you, I am a snuggler with a loud purr. I like to run around and play like any kitten does, and I have a slightly mellow personality. My foster mom would like that my sister Emily and I be adopted together so we can play during times when we’re wide-awake, and sleep and snuggle together when we’re exhausted from playing.

To learn more about me, please email my foster mom, Michele, at michele.lacher@gmail.com

Sibella

Hi, my name is Emily. I love playing and exploring, and I am quite an acrobat. Sometimes I jump to the top of my crate and just hang there. My favorite toy is the ball on a string. To learn more about me, please email my foster mom, Michele, at michele.lacher@gmail.com

Baxter

Baxter is a big white and gray kitten-at-heart who will make you feel like you are magic. If you hold your hand out, suddenly Baxter will materialize under it making sure that your hand is petting him. If you lay down on the couch after a long day, Baxter will appear on your stomach and purr like a freight train. Feeling lonely? Baxter can fix that! He would love to follow you from room to room like an enchanted helper, rubbing against your ankles and waiting patiently (or not so patiently) for you to give him some love.

Baxter is about one-year-old so he still thinks he is a kitten even though he is in a giant, round, fluffy body. That just means there’s more of him to love! He adores petting, hugs, and long cuddle sessions. Baxter also firmly believes that every cat he meets is his best friend! He is an energetic boy who likes to play hard, so feline or human playmates who can wear him out would be good for him. (He is a bit of a couch potato at heart, so wearing him out doesn’t take much!) He’s also done well with dogs, once he realizes that their loud barking is just their way of saying hello.

Baxter was formerly a very shy cat who blossomed into the life of the party with the help of our socialization team. If you’d like to know more about him, please email socialcatsvbas@gmail.com and we will set up a meet-and-greet with the team members who know him best!

Zorro

Hi, my name is Zorro, but I would love for it to be changed. Felix, perhaps? No, maybe Sebastian — you know, something regal. I am a very loving guy who enjoys the finer things in my 9 lives. I just want some sugar momma (or daddy, I don’t discriminate) to come to sweep me off my paws and give me a forever home. Is that asking too much? I don’t think so. Oh, did I mention I have a brother? His name is Max. You have to take us both — we are in a very codependent relationship. Not unhealthy codependent like a couple on Dr. Phil, but we need one another.

To learn more about Zorro, please call Levi at (602) 206-644

Max

Hi. my name is Max. Like many of you, I have very complex emotions. I want to be held when I want it and don’t when I don’t — you know? Can you imagine some big ogre coming and picking you up at a moments notice without your permission all the time? It can be annoying. My brother Zorro describes me as a sour patch kid — first I’m sour, then I’m sweet and sometimes sour again. What can I say, the kitten condition will keep things exciting. Zorro and I go together or not at all. What kind of person splits up siblings? If you’re that person, you can scram.

To learn even more about me, please contact Levi at (602) 206-6344

Ruby

Lap kitten, anyone? Meet Ruby — boisterous by day and a total cuddle bug by night, she is a 2lb purring machine who is sure to keep things interesting in any room she enters. Ruby is a very affectionate and bold kitten who primarily wants to spend time with a family of her very own. She will follow you around the house, climb onto your lap or shoulder, or even snuggle with your feet and give kisses while you’re working. She quickly warms up to new people and fears nothing except perhaps the vacuum cleaner. Ruby excels at preening, chasing her toys and performing various acrobatics in her play pen. When she inevitably tires herself out, your lap is one of her favorite napping spots where you can keep an eye out for one of her many luxurious sleeping poses. Ruby will be a friendly and loving companion in any household lucky enough to get her.

To learn more about Ruby, please email veena.vignale@gmail.com.

Shayla

Shayla came to the shelter very scared and shy. Thanks to the socialization team she opened up after few weeks at the shelter. But it’s during her time in a foster home that she really blossomed into a special little girl. She is still a little shy at first but she is really sweet and loves to be pet! She has a very unique way to communicate through little chirps, not quite a MEOW more like a little bird which makes her ever more adorable. She does well with both alpha type personality cats and with more submissive cats as well so she would probably do better in a home with other cats. She needs a patient owner who will allow her to take her time to open up and show all her personality traits.

To learn more about Shayla, please contact her foster mom, Irina, at irina@vbas.org.

Ronan

Ronan is an active, playful and affectionate teenager who is looking for his forever home. Ronan likes to spend his days playing with his mouse toy, napping and window watching for squirrels. He’d be well suited to a home with another cat or small dog (has never interacted with a dog, but given his personality he’d do well), and children of any age as he is gentle in every way.

Ronan is still learning to enjoy cuddling with humans and being held, but is extremely affectionate and insists on being kissed and pet. He may not seek you out directly, but will expect you to find him, and be happy about it. He is quick to show you his belly and demand belly rubs while he makes biscuits in the air. Ronan lived for 6 months as a stray, so can be slow to adjust to new things. He is NOT afraid of the vacuum, but IS afraid of the TV and computer screens.

He is also VERY goofy, chatty and adorably bashful at times. He loves chatting…especially when he sees his foster sisters coming to see him or you pull out his favorite mouse toy! He also gives the sweetest meow when he is overwhelmed and done playing…such a gentleman. Lastly, he is very smart and he knows one hand signal that means “come here” and he follows suit almost every time.

To learn more about Ronan, please contact his foster mom, Nikki, at msnikkiwood@gmail.com.

Dakota

Dakota was trapped and brought to the shelter with her sibling and other adult cats. She has been in foster for a few weeks now. Dakota is shy but very sweet. She is still learning to trust people and scares easily, but she’s still very young and with love and a little patience, she can be the kitty you have always wanted! She would do best in a quiet adult home.

To learn more about Dakota, please contact her foster mom, Bonnie, at bonjiebonbon@aol.com.

Minnie A085110

Us VBAS volunteers are completely at a loss about why Minnie is still here! Minnie is a three-year-old playful, loving, kitten-at-heart who likes pets, attention, and wand toys. Her favorite activities include chasing rubber bands, curling up beside her foster mom, and chilling out during the heat of the day. Minnie is about equal parts party animal and cool cat, and she’s looking for fellow hepcats with a similar jive.

She gets along well with other cats but would do just as well on her own so long as she can get a taste of the quiet life. The thing that Minnie wants most of all is a person to call her own that can shower her with all the attention that she rightfully deserves.

If you are interested, contact her foster mom Linda at lindasarc@yahoo.com

Zeke was brought to the shelter as a stray with his 4 siblings.  He had no contact with people, was scared and was sent to a foster home. Merle may not know which dice to roll, but you’ll be in the zone of truth when you realize he’s a very good little boy! Merle likes to play with Magnus and play with his toys, but he also likes to sleep and relax.

Merle is a wonderful snuggler and loves to sit on your lap and just enjoy being with you. He also is in love with our 70 pound bulldog and loves snuggling with him or with his brothers.

Merle is super social and would do best with one or both of his brothers, or in a home with other cats or cat-friendly dogs.

Sein

My name is Sein. My foster family says I am the most playful kitten they’ve ever fostered and one of the most affectionate too. I can be shy the first minute or two but I’m so curious and adventurous that overcomes my shy side. I love other cats and I’m used to dogs and small kids. I’m also a purring machine and I love to snuggle.

If you would like to meet me please contact my foster mom, Joseline, at 917-379-7905

Cody

Cody is Clayton’s little brother in maturity and size! He is every bit as much fun and loves a great wrestling match with his brother. Cody is sweet, loving and a great kitten all around.

These two brothers are as close as can be. It would be ideal if they can stay together. If they are to be separated, another companion in the new home is preferred.

To learn more about Cody, please call or text Carla at 818-216-5477.

Clayton

Clayton is a curious and playful kitten with a surplus of energy. There isn’t a toy he won’t play with, but his favorite playtime is with his brother Cody. These two are joined at the hip when exploring, playing and sleeping. It would be ideal for them to be adopted together, but should they be separated, another companion will be preferred.

To learn more about Clayton, please call or text Carla at 818-216-5477.

Rocky

Rocky: The Handsome Stallion
Rocky is a sweet boy that can easily be an addition to any family. He is well rounded and easy going. He is instantly trusting and will be your companion in 3, 2, 1… seconds of meeting you. He has fluffy fur that you can pet for hours. He loves cuddling and will seek you out to lay next to you or be in the same room as you. He is a purring machine. He is great with kids and our small dog. He loves playing with balls and loves playing with his brother Archie. He can get pretty excited and boisterous like a puppy when he plays with his brother. He is ready to meet his forever family and leave an imprint on your hearts.

To learn even more about Rocky, please contact his foster mom, Monica, at msbaklarz@yahoo.com.

Archie

Archie aka Mr. Valentine
“Archie is like cupids arrow, aiming straight for your heart” said by my 9 year old son. When Archie came to our home he was cautious and it only took moments to warm up to us. Now he is constantly seeking companionship and loves to cuddle. He has the softest fur and is a purring machine. He is charismatic, charming and has great eye contact. He is comfortable with children and our small dog. He’s playful with his brother Rocky and loves him very much. He’s quiet and only makes noise if he’s playing with a ball or occasional pitter-patter on the floor. There’s no crying or complaining from him. In such a short time that we have known him he has definitely left a huge imprint on our hearts. He is such a sweet and loving boy and ready to meet his forever family.

To learn more about Archie, please contact his foster mom, Monica, at msbaklarz@yahoo.com.

Simba

Simba is a playful, adventurous, and loving kitten. He’s always up for chasing a string, a game of chase or popping out at you as you walk by, but he also loves a good nap. He’s the quintessential play hard/sleep hard kitten.

To learn more about this little girl, please contact Lauren at lauren.villa.riera@gmail.com.

Misty

Misty is a love bug! She loves to snuggle and nap in your arms. She also likes to play with string and pounce on things, but snuggling is her favorite!

To learn more about this little girl, please contact Lauren at lauren.villa.riera@gmail.com.

Henry

Henry is the sweetest little tough guy. He’s a feisty boy who loves to pick fights with his other foster brothers, and torment the dog by hunting his tail. But he’ll start purring as soon as he looks at you. And when he’s done running around, he loves to settle in for a cuddle on your lap. He would love to go to a home with another cat or dog to play with, or be adopted with his older foster brother, Miso.

To learn more about Henry, please contact Katie at kheat512@gmail.com.

Miso

Miso is a very sweet, but shy boy. He has a heart of gold and the sweetest purrs. He’s a bit timid at first, but once he learns that you’ve got the treats, he’ll be purring in your lap in no time. This guy will need a somewhat quiet home with someone who is patient and understanding of shy cat behavior. He loves playing with his cat foster brothers and would do great in a home with another cat, or adopted with his little brother Henry.

To learn more about Miso, please contact Katie at kheat512@gmail.com.

Mabel

Mabel is the smallest but mightiest of her brother and sister, and she definitely leads the pack. She is very energetic, curious, and playful. She rarely seems to stop exploring, climbing, and jumping. She loves roughing up her siblings, but also will cuddle up with humans when she is absolutely exhausted. Despite her small size, she never misses a meal – she loves her wet food and will meow non-stop to let you know if her food is running late. Mabel is a great character to have around and you will not have a dull moment with her!

To learn more about Mabel, please contact Laura at laurathomasian@gmail.com.

Wendy

Wendy was a little shy and skeptical when we first met her, but now she feels right at home. Like a teenager trapped in a kitten’s body, she thinks she is independent beyond her age and does not hesitate to let her brother and sister (or foster) know when they are bugging her. Wendy loves playing with the laser pointer and scratching post. She also loves her wet food so much that she sometimes eats more than her fair share – but her sister and brother don’t mind. During foster, Wendy took some time to warn up to our family, but with some patience, she would be a joy to have at any forever home!
