Stubby Girl

There’s a sweet, curious cat wanting to emerge from Stubby Girl. She shows glimpses of it in quiet moments, but she has no self confidence to really let herself shine. Loud noises and sudden movements make her flinch. At the moment she feels most secure when she’s curled up in a box.

During quiet moments she does allow pets, and she has amazingly soft fur.  She needs a quiet home with someone with a lot of patience and love to help this her come out of her shell. She will also need help with a diet since she is chonky.

Stubby Girl originally belonged to an elderly woman who had many other cats. The woman went in to an assisted living situation and Stubby Girl wound up with us. She has been chased and bullied by the other cats and doesn’t defend herself, (she prefers to run and hide) so being the only cat would be a great relief for her, unless she was paired with a very nice boy or girl.

A friend who knew her before she arrived at the shelter said Stubby Girl enjoys playing, getting pets and being brushed, and she would probably be happiest as the only pet.
