Suzie Q Living It Up In Her Foster Home!

Suzie Q is living the good life in her Adult Dog Foster Home!  Her foster mom sends the following:

“If it looks like a pig, walks like a pig, and snorts like a pig, then it probably IS a pig… right? Thirteen year old Suzie Q may have everyone else fooled, but I think this Chihuahua might be a lab experiment on the run! Suzie Q’s frequent snorting will not only melt your heart but guarantee you will never lose track of her. The bell on her collar is no match against her oinking, especially when she is in a deep sleep or diving into her food bowl.

Suzie Q has ability to get along with literally anything that breathes – wait – I take that back. She would cuddle up with a literal rock if it let her.  She not only loves other dogs, kids, and the elderly, but kittens too!

The other day, one of my foster kittens, Willow, had just been spayed. Suzie Q. could sense one of her cuddle buddies just wasn’t feeling 100% and proceeded to wrap her in a hug so heartwarming even I felt the effects of it! The two friends fell asleep together to the musical sounds of purring and Suzie Q’s snoring.

Willow only ever moved to knead her paws in pure bliss or smush her face further into Suzie Q’s neck. As much as this display of kindness brought tears to my eyes, I was not surprised because Suzie Q. has this super power of knowing when someone needs her.

If you’re sick, lonely, having a bad day, or just need something to hold on to Suzie Q. will be there and won’t move until you do.  This piglet’s best quality is loyalty. Period. You could be in the world’s worst mood and Suzie Q would still follow you around.

I won’t lie, you will eventually trip on her once or twice or three times but she won’t care. Suzie Q will be there by your side through thick and thin. Even when following your every move starts to become physically tiresome for her.

Doesn’t that just sound positively magical? If that doesn’t sell you though, she’s house broken and that is always a plus in my book!  Adopt sweet SusieQ (A087681)!  Email vbasfosterinfo@gmail.com to arrange a meet and greet.”
