He has no home, no mother, and he needs your help. In 2009 the VBAS fostered over 400 kittens, and we expect to rescue even more this year. Without programs like the Kitten Foster Program, these kittens would have no one to care for them and would sadly have to be euthanized. The Kitten Foster Program is staffed entirely by volunteers and funded exclusively by donations given to the VBAS. We can not do it alone, we need your help!

Train A Dog

Some dogs may bark, jump, hide or not even know how to walk on a leash. A little training can go a long way, so in 2008 the VBAS started a special program to help train these dogs, and increase their adoptability. In many shelters these dogs would be euthanized, but with your small donation these dogs now have a chance to discover their true potential. For as little as $40 you can help train a shelter dog and help them find their forever home.

  • One-on-one session with a professional trainer
  • Time to learn basic commands like Sit, Stay or Heel
  • Exercise and socialization

Help Heal A Shelter Animal

Sick and injured animals arrive at the shelter regularly, but some cases are more complex than what we can treat at the shelter. In these situations, the VBAS pays for the animal’s medical care. Your gift today can help provide life-saving medical treatment to our Burbank Animal Shelter residents. From x-rays, to dental care, to advanced eye surgeries, your donation will get an animal onto the road to recovery.
