The free app, Walk for a Dog by WoofTrax, available for iPhone and Android, allows users to donate to their local animal shelter by tracking dog walks with their phone’s GPS. Download the app and register here (hotlink to app) Choose Volunteers of the Burbank Animal Shelter as the recipient for your walking funds!
Use the app each time you grab for the leash. It’s healthy for you, your dog, and all the animals served by VBAS. Don’t have your own pup to walk? On the app you can choose to walk a virtual dog!
