Here is what our kennel attendants have to say about Millie:
“Millie is an awesome pup for the right household. She is a little ball of energy and is very loving. I have been working with Millie and she is already awesome at sit. She is not super food motivated so she might be a challenge but she is a fast learner regardless. Millie does tend to pull on her leash when she’s trying to get places but is working on walking nicer on a leash. She is already learning quickly after only 1 day!”

Her previous owner stated that she is housebroken, however she needs further obedience training (the basics and how to walk nicely on the leash). Millie already knows how to sit and is very smart, so training should be easy. Millie would do well in a home where she is the only pet and has access to a medium to large sized yard for her to run and play in. Because of her energy level, we are not sure about small kids.  We would recommend middle school or older.

Millie will need an owner who leads an active lifestyle as she is a very high energy pup (long walks, runs or hikes daily would be perfect for her). We have introduced Millie into our Dogs Playing for Life Playgroup and she seems to do best with super passive dogs that will give her lots of space. She gets overwhelmed by other high energy dogs trying to play with her.
