Pancakes for Paws fundraiser!!!

What do you get when you mix paws, prizes and pancakes?  You get our annual Pancakes for Paws breakfast fundraiser!

We had 179 guests join us on Sunday September 22nd, with over $3,300 raised to help support the VBAS shelter programs. Guests enjoyed blueberry pancakes while winning some very cool raffle and auction prizes like Dodgers and Kings tickets, spa treatments, museum memberships, and fancy local dinner packages.

I want a pancake!

Shelter resident, Kojack, was in attendance and kept busy greeting people at the door.

The proceeds from the Pancake Breakfast will help pay for supplies for our Kitten Foster Program and Chico’s leg surgery. (Read more about Chico here!) Our Kitten Foster Program has taken in 325 stray and orphaned kittens in Burbank so far in the 2019 season. That’s a 40% increase from last year, so we’re more than grateful for the help! (If you’d like to foster kittens, we’re always on the lookout for more fosters too! Read more about it here!)

Thank you to everyone who attended, the Burbank VFW hall for hosting us, and to the VBAS volunteers who helped at the event.  We also want to say a *very* big thank you to Deborah Dodge who organized and put on the event for us!  Thank you everything you do for the animals!

We look forward to seeing all of you again next year!
