Prince and Precious are a fluffy pair of brothers came to the shelter sadly when their person passed away. She spoke German to them, but they don’t seem to mind the change in language.
Prince (black and white tuxedo) is the outgoing one of the pair. He absolutely *adores* being pet. He will reward you with loud purrs and drool. He will even groom you. He might be happiest if you just never stop petting him. He will head butt the heck out of you while you brush him, and it’s the best thing ever.
Precious isn’t one to ask for attention at first but once you offer treats or pets he greatly appreciates both and warms up. He loves a good scratch behind the ears and is a super sweet fellow. We are sure Precious will be much happier once he’s in a home.
We’ve been loving them and reassuring them that we will find them a new, loving, home. Their former owner treasured them and was a wonderful mom. She kept them indoors, took them for regular vet visits and socialized them with her neighbors who also loved these furry babies.
They are both 11 years old, and a little overweight (which we’ve been working on). We did a blood panel on them, and it came back looking good. They have a cozy condo here at the shelter, but they really want a new home. They are of course still grieving their dear owner who loved them for so many years, but with a new family and home to call their own, their hearts will surely heal. They are a bonded pair and must be adopted together.
Prince and Precious are simply dreamy, and they’re going to make their adopters *very* happy.
