What can we tell you about this boy that we named Iggy? Not a lot, since he came to us as a stray, only what we have seen of his personality. You can tell he has not been socialized much, so he was most likely a Covid Pup: 1 to 2 year old dogs that were adopted during lock down and never got the chance to know people outside of their home.
The good news is, this is easily fixable, by lots of socialization, with people and other dogs. Iggy is already doing an amazing job of getting to know new people.
This boy just needs to get his confidence back and match with an owner who is savvy with large dogs. He is very sweet once he knows you and will shower you in kisses. He is strong and will need an active adopter who is patient and willing to give him the training that he will require.
No apartments or condo situations please, he needs room to grow, run and do zoomies. Iggy is a lovely boy who will make his new family very happy and be their friend for life!
