Romeo is a *super* sweet boy, but he wasn’t feeling his best when he arrived at the shelter. He had a mouth full of rotten teeth and major abscesses. He needed *major* dental surgery to get his mouth right.

While he waited for his appointment with the specialist, Romeo roamed the medical room and made friends with *everyone* who came to visit. Cat, dog, or human, Romeo was happy to see them. He routinely patrolled the office, kept an eye on everything, and even helped out the vet with her office work!

Romeo had his dental surgery last week and it went very well. His mouth is more comfortable than it’s probably ever been, and it no longer hurts to eat. We’re super happy for him, and we’re sure he is too! We’d like to say a big thank you to Montrose Animal Hospital for fixing Romeo’s mouth, and a big thank you to our donors who made Romeo’s surgery possible. Because of you, Romeo is smiling again, and he’s going to make his adopters *very* happy. Thank you for giving a shelter cat a second chance.
