Sally-Jo is a 4 year old German Shepherd. She is a total sweetheart, very affectionate, and has a heart as big as her personality. Whether it’s putting her head in your lap for pets, rolling over for belly rubs, or gently nudging your hand for scratches, Sally-Jo’s love knows no bounds.
In her short time in foster care, Sally-Jo has shown excellent progress in leash training. She is very eager to learn, and as a shepherd mix, Sally-Jo possesses a natural curiosity about the world. She’s very excited and interested when she sees other animals, but we’re not sure yet how she is with dogs or cats. A meet and greet will be necessary (as always) if you already have a dog. Sally-Jo is potty trained, and knows basic commands like sit and paw. She is super smart and a quick study. We think she would be great with any family willing to open their hearts to her.
