Hi there! I’m Greta, and I’m happy to see you!
Here are a few things I enjoy: Playing with my toys, greeting visitors with a soft mew, and eating delicious treats.
I came to the shelter with some other cats after our owner passed away. At first, I was a bit shy and liked to hide in my cozy box. The kind volunteers kept bringing me tasty treats (Churu is my favorite!), which helped me feel curious enough to come out. I even discovered that head pets are quite nice!
Now, I really enjoy when people visit! I’ll rub against you and give gentle head bumps to show I’m happy. I’m still learning to trust, so if I feel uncomfortable, I might give a soft swat (claws in) to let you know.
I think I’d do best in a calm, quiet home without children, where someone can be patient and help me build my confidence. When I’m ready for attention, I’ll come to you! Just a little note—I can be a night owl, so I might not be the best fit for light sleepers.
If this sounds like you, and you’re willing to put the time in, you’ll be rewarded with a loving and loyal friend in me!
Come visit the Burbank Animal Shelter to adopt Greta.
