Bucky went out with a volunteer on another day hike and got a glowing report:
What a dream date! Bucky has evolved quickly into a fantastic companion. As I prepared his leash and harness, he knew exactly why I was there and sat patiently while I outfitted him. He still pulls on the leash as we leave his kennel, but once we are inside the main building, he drops the leash and is on his way. He hasn’t pulled on the leash once during our walks.
Today we walked the Chandler path and stopped off to get coffee. We met a nice lady on the path who was walking her little chihuahua mix. Bucky sat patiently by my side while we chatted, and he was a calm gentleman with her dog. Just outstanding. Bucky is really mellow during play group, so that tracks.
I firmly believe that he would make an ideal companion for someone who wants a fun dog to walk, play, or hang out. He makes friends wherever he goes, and is just the best little guy.
