After 1,076 days at the Shelter, our largest (160 pounds!) and longest term resident, Astrid is finally out of the Shelter!
Astrid left the shelter to find her forever home with @outtathecage rescue. Outta the Cage has connected her with a trainer of large breed dogs, and Astrid will be learning to become a working dog herding livestock, as is common for her breed. After training she will be placed in a farm, and her forever home. We’d like to say a *big* thank you to Outta the Cage!
We will miss you very much Astrid, but we could not be happier for you!
