When animals have medical needs that are beyond the capacity of the Shelter Medical to treat, we send them to outside specialists and the VBAS pays for their care.  We had a whole bunch of animals needing special outside care in the last month.

Stewie needed Dental Surgery, and now he’s smiling again in his forever home.

Chilli needed an eye exam at the specialist.

And Plushie needed to go to the eye doctor as well

All told we sent seven dogs and one kitten to outside specialists.  Stewie, Coco, Chilli, Plushy, Zoe, Richie, Mamas and Bob the kitten all say a big thank you to our donors.  Thank you for giving them the extra care they needed!
