Piglet is a gorgeous, patient, and incredibly loving 8 year old blind Pug who has been an absolute blessing during his time in foster care.

This calm, chill boy is mostly quiet and wonderfully adaptable. He thrives on a consistent daily routine with several gentle walks, which he adores. Piglet loves following his person around the house, listening carefully for footsteps so he can stay close. With patience and clear verbal cues, he has learned the layout of the home, yard, and favorite walking paths beautifully — knowing his lefts and rights and steering clear of trees.

Though he started with a very structured schedule to build confidence, he is now relaxing into a more flexible routine as he grows more familiar with his surroundings. Despite his blindness, Piglet’s resilience and sweet demeanor shine through. He is never reactive toward people or other dogs, is 100% potty trained, enjoys daily brushing, loves being held and cuddling in your arms, and is even happy to quietly join you on Zoom calls.

Piglet simply needs a patient, attentive family who is willing to be his eyes on walks and speak to him along the way. In return, he offers the peaceful, affectionate companionship every pet owner dreams of. After two-plus months of progress, this special boy is ready to find his forever home.
