Rusty Ryan and Danny Ocean

Say hello to bonded brothers and partners-in-crime Rusty Ryan and Danny Ocean. Whenever Danny is getting up to shenanigans, Rusty is not too far behind!

Rusty is a true orange tabby, though he doesn’t seem aware of what that means. He’s a bit more reserved of the two. He likes observing his surroundings, but once he sees his brother make the first move, he will charge right into action too. His curiosity gets the better of him. Rusty is the true mastermind of the pair. He learns fast and you can’t fool this little dude. He always seems to be two steps ahead of us and knows what we are thinking. We think he might have been a tortie in a previous life, because he has an independent spirit, and has a cool attitude.

Out of the two, Rusty is definitely more into playtime. He likes to play hide n’ seek, or play with any kind of wand stick. But his nemesis is the laser pointer. He will run after it at full speed and keep going until he has to catch his breath, which can take a bit of a while.

Danny Ocean is silky smooth, suave, and has the makings of gloriously poofy tail! Danny is an opinionated void, and his opinions mainly revolve around food. He will definitely let you know if you are moving to slow for his liking, or if you did not give him enough treats. We think he was probably the runt of the group, but this little dude can eat. He loves treats, he loves food, he loves treats in his food. He is a little garbage disposal.

Danny loves his playtime, but mainly likes to chill and hang out on the window hammock and stare out the window at the people passing by. But even though he is chill, he will walk up to one of us and ask for pets. Not only does he like pets, he really likes butt pats, and especially LOVES belly rubs. You can really get his purr motor going during a belly rub session. He’s not that fond of being picked up (yet), but he has been tolerating it more and more, and even allows his foster mom to give him plenty of kisses.

This pair of brothers were a bit standoffish when they arrived at the shelter, but have come a very long way. They continue to seek out more and more human attention and are becoming more and more affectionate. We have a feeling they will become cuddle bugs in the right home. Danny and Rusty were in a home with multiple other cats, and that was a bit too much for them. We feel they would do best in a furever home where they are the only cats, so they can soak up all the love and steal your heart, or where there is only one playful other resident cat, who can be part of their crew and follow around the house to learn the ropes and cuddle with.

So, if you are looking for a lovely duo to adopt, and want to be part of Ocean’s Eleven, please contact their foster mom, Mayra, at kittehkaos2020@gmail.com. With your inquiry, please include some information about your household, experience, and other pets, as well as any questions you might have for us. (Bonus points if you are a Tess, or a Linus.)
