Let’s Split It! Dog Training Reimbursement Program

Bringing home a new dog is exciting and training is one of the best investments you can make for a happy, successful adoption. That’s why the Volunteers of the Burbank Animal Shelter (VBAS) are proud to offer Let’s Split It!, a dog training reimbursement program designed to support adopters and help dogs thrive in their new homes.

How It Works

VBAS will reimburse up to 50% of your dog training costs, with a maximum reimbursement of $100 per dog, when you complete an approved training program or session(s) with an approved trainer.

Eligibility Requirements

To qualify for reimbursement:

• Your dog must be adopted from the Burbank Animal Shelter
• Training must be completed within six (6) months of adoption
• Training must be done through an approved program or trainer
• You must submit proof of completion (such as a certificate or receipt)

Adopters may choose from the following approved training opportunities:
