The shelter gets lots of calls about stray animals, but the call about Peanut Steve was a memorable one. It’s not every day we get a call about a stray goat!
Peanut Steve is a small fellow, as far as goats go. But he’s no fainting goat. He led our Animal Control Officer on quite a chase, much to the amusement of passers by.
His owner never came looking for him, and as much as we loved him, the shelter is no place for a goat. Thankfully Love Always Sanctuary took him in. He’s now named Michael and is settling in nicely (Check out his video of his first day at the Sanctuary.
