In 2009, we began the Happy Tails Hikes program where volunteers take dogs out of the shelter and onto the hiking trails to get some much needed exercise, new experiences, and the opportunity to possibly meet a potential adopter. To participate in the program you must be a full Volunteer of the Burbank Animal Shelter.
