Paw-ty invite!
When the pandemic hit last year our adult dog foster coordinator went to work placing over 25 dogs in foster homes. Munchie and DeRose (now Pinky), a bonded pair of Chihuahuas were among them. After a few failed attempts Munchie and Pinky were placed in an home which would later become their forever home. On April 22, 2020 Joy and Josh invited Munchie and Pinky into their home. They immediately fell in love and officially adopted them on July 23, 2020.
Josh and Joy and the guests of honor!
On Sunday April 25, 2021 Munchie and Pinky celebrated their one year “Gotcha Day” with a Paw-ty in the park. Our volunteer adult dog foster coordinator, Tammie Fagan, and her 2 pups were invited to join in the festivities. Approximately 15 humans and 9 pups attended.
Special guest Stella had the best hat.
Summer was dressed to impress!
The humans were served a delicious lunch including cake and hot chocolate and the pups snacked on doggie sliders.
Cake!
There was even a photo booth and craft tables. The guests were invited to make photo frames and create stuffed toys for their furry friends. Munchie and Pinky even gave all their furry friends a treat to take home. Fun was had by all.
Thank you everyone for coming to our paw-ty!
